Been doing a fair amount of research and think I may have settled on a pretty good beginner cycle that meets my basic goals.
A little about me, I’m 38, 5’8 165Lbs, body fat at about 15%, eat pretty clean and most of my training is done with Jiu-Jitsu 4-5 days a week (just a hobbyist) and 3-4 days lifting weights, mostly for injury prevention.
I’m hoping with this cycle to aid recovery from training, build a little strength and that the EQ might help a bit with the cardio.
Based on what I’ve read my plan is:
Weeks 1-16: EQ, 200 MG every three days.
Weeks 1-24: Test E, 300 MG every three days.
Potentially cruising at 100 MG Test E thereafter, pending bloodwork.
Been told to keep both Arimidex and HCG on hand to manage any potential E2 issues.
Still working on sourcing, but my OCD wants to make sure I’m on the right track.
I dont understand why would you think about doing a cycle at all…
You are not a bodybuilder. Your main focus is on jiu jitsu. You dont mention any current lifts so you dont go after strenght apparently. Why steroids? To be good at hobby level jiu jitsu you dont need steroids. Al Bundy is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu, man, and im sure he doesnt take steroids.
Steroids wont help if your training is so stupid that you do 4-5 days of grappling and on top you do 3-4 days of strenght training at the age of 38.
If jiu jitsu is your primary goal, then you should be doing no more that 3 sessions of that and maximum of 2 sessions in the gym(all on seperate days, of course) and very very basic barbell training, like minimalistic 531 with added back work and thats it.
You are doing too much - steroids wont help with that at this high level of activity.
For me it didnt change it at all.
how about you actually add cardio, instead of steroids?
How many hours a week do you spend on a incline treadmill or a bike? If you do this correctly, i cant see how are you able to do all the other training ON TOP of this.
You are running yourself in the ground, you probably dont do cardio, and you wonder if steroids would help with the planning issues?
As a person who is a hand to hand combat trainer, a fighter and also strenght sports enthusiast and has trained 3 times a day for the last 5-7 years i can tell you - NO STEROIDS will fix that… the only thing that fixes being broken and tired is correct planning, cardio, and very specific training.
Steroids build muscle, they dont fix your program. And If EQ does something to your cardio, it will be maybe 1 second off your 400m sprint, but since you dont do any, how will you notice?
Your planning and programming, sorry, but it sucks big time and i am only going by the amount of training. I am sure there are serious problems in training as such also. Fix that. You are already on TRT and if you cant recover, then doubling up the dose wont help.
