Thug look. And, well, the groups seems to actually realize, and in fact claim, that they look like thugs.
And what if they didn’t claim anything? Russel Simmons is an icon…not some dude you see on the street.
You’ve never seen Russel Simmons on the street?! Seriously though, I’m talking about his clothing and posture. You can imagine Joe Q. public wearing the same clothes, if you want. Not thug.
FAIL…considering that the majority of people I see dress more like Russell Simmons than the other pic in your “comparison.” Remember…Russell Simmons has this clothing line that millions people wear…called Phat Farm. Which just so happens to wear himself a lot.
Need I remind you that you started this comparison with a pic of “Mr.Black JCPenny.” Find you a medium and stick with it.
I don’t know, that one on the right looks like a hippie. Maybe not a thug, but he will beat your ass if you don’t recycle or like listening to Phish.

Why haven’t people figured this out? It only takes a blink of an eye for someone to become a “criminal.”
Because violent street crimes aren’t being committed by the guys wearing dockers and button collar shirts.
lol…you’re funny ![]()
No, I’m experienced in life.
Well, you and billions of other people have something in common. Get real.
I’m being real. Unfortunately, some folks around here foolishly cling to PC sentiments. And, can’t even be honest. Neighborhoods aren’t being shot up by guys that looks like this. He isn’t the guy one worries about, because he’s behind you waiting to use the ATM. That guy isn’t going to rob me, or car jack me, or jump me with a bunch of his friends because he doesn’t like my pasty skin color.
Didn’t he work in the top echelon at Enron?Or Worldcom?
Oh no ,wait, that would be us white guys…
Since we’re talking crime and all that.
What?! I can take the white collar criminal to court, later on. Hopefully, in the scenario of a violent street crime, I’m not bleeding out from a gun shot wound. Than there is no recovery for damage if some thug has blown my brains out for the $20 I had on me… Ugh, please follow along.
Because of course all the people that lost their savings and pensions, they’re really capable of going to court and didn’t have their lives destroyed in the least…

Boy-touchers??
People are so shallow.

Face it people…what you wear matters. Did you judge these guys in the pic?

Russel Simmons CREATED the look that many people copy in Hip-Hop. His wife is influential as well when it comes to “Apple Bottom Jeans”. That means they consider his look a “non thug look” yet the people who dress like him to be thugs?

What is it with you? I’ve been poor most my life! Guess what, I was still alive! Being poor doesn’t break facial bones and blind someone in one eye. A group of thugs will do that for your wallet. You see, I can recover from poverty (been there).
Of course, I’ll use any means avialable to watch for any white collar crimes that might snare me. But, I’m not going to get robbed at gunpoint by the guy in a business suit. I’m not going to sit there wondering if he’s going to let me go home. Or, if he’s going to ventilate my cranium, even if I cooperate, just to make sure I can’t give a description to the police.
Follow along.

I could care less what Russel Simmons created. I could care less about the wider range of Hip-Hop look. The styles I’ve shown here recieve a much different sort of attention from me.

Then how and the hell do you expect anyone to buy your argument. YOUR BIASED. Like I said…YOUR perception of what a “thug” looks like are only based on your bad experiences in your personal world and are not general enough.

I just explained it above. And you don’t need to burn your thug gear on my behalf. Like I’ve said, a number of times, the most your attire alone will earn from is to keep you in my peripheal vision. I haven’t made it through 32 years of life with no criminal record, by shooting those dressed like thugs on sight.
HA the guy on the far left in that picture sends his apologies for not wearing the proper attire…FYI don’t put on your robe until you are done enjoying the coffee and doughnuts…he made up for it by just holding a big ass random sword.
P.S. I’m not in the KKK, found the pic on google.

And in my experiences, it’s a general view held by many, of all races. Now I’ll be told why my experiences don’t count.

Only thing you explained was how shallow you are. What is “thug gear?” I need ideas for Halloween this year.

Tell me how so…and I will apologize.
By the way. I’m noticing some of you keep coming back to “Hip-Hop” attire in general. Why? I’ve never singled out Hip-Hop clothing alone. Which I sort of illustrated with the two different hip-hop styles I posted. And then by presenting a thugish, nonhip-hop, biker style. Odd.
