I’ve tried spinach, oats and egg yolks blended together and though it tasted pretty good, but that’s me. (I also like the taste of raw cod liver, so take my opinions with a huge (literal) grain of salt)
I’m talking like whole chicken breast, white rice, and sweet potatoes
900ish calories worth of nasty liquid
2 scoops of whey (around 200-250 calories)+ 1 cup oats (300 cal)+ 1 cup whole milk (160 cal)+ 1 cup berries (50-100cal)+ spinach (meh, I wouldn’t count this, you can’t taste this anyways)+ 1-2 tbsp PB (100-200 cal) - I’d say that’s a pretty delicious combo
or, if you’re weird like me
6 egg yolks (300 cal)+1 cup oats (300 cal)+1 cup whole milk (160 cal)+ spinach
- there’s technically the risk of salmonella, but if the risk was really that high, I’d be dead by now
All good ideas but in my mind I’m looking for more of a meal replacement kinda thing. I probably eat a good bit more than you
. I had 3 meals before 9am this morning
I can’t get behind liquefied meat…
I really don’t want too. I’m so tired of eating good food, and it’s only going to get worse as time goes on. BUT. I’m going to try it.
I eat basically the same thing every day, except for a cheat meal on the weekend. For me the secret is to make a list of all the beneficial foods, make a menu of the ones that you really like alot, and then dont be afraid to dress/spice them up differently.
eating for pleasure all the time just destroys the temple lol, and too bad its so easy to do with the chem laden foods that are pushed on the masses today…
On another note, ive always wondered whats beyond the end of the universe.
The Langoliers.
Rice forever
But in all seriousness, why not keep the rice and do chicken / peppers one day, turkey/green beans, etc?
Don’t know what type of dog you have but my dog, and every dog I have had, eats everything that it comes across outside of a select few fruits. Meat, rice, veggies, pasta, wood, grass, bugs, donuts, sweets, chips and even shit.
The only thing that controls that eating to any extent is me.
That was kinda the point he made. Obviously a dog will eat everything but it was more in the sense of a well kept dog. Buy it quality food, feed it the same amount every day at a certain time etc…
I’ve done that. Also add in bananas, frozen berries, yogurt, milk, peanut butter, and the three things you mentioned, and that fills me up for several hours.
Yep, this. I cook once a week most weeks. Makes life easy when I just cook one big batch of stuff to last 6 days.
Or chilli?
Try 500g Greek yoghurt, frozen berries, chocolate protein powder. Some spinach as well, if you insist. Pretty good.
That’s basically ice cream!!!
wife and I prep our breafasts, lunches and dinners, to essentially grab and go throughout the week, every Sunday.
When we prep dinners that can be frozen, we make multiple batches and stick them in the cellar freezer
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
@polo77j my better half doesn’t really do real food, so its just for me. I’m quite happy eating the same thing 6 days running, although once in a blue moon I’ll fuck it up. The only thing worse than eating bad food is knowing you’ll be eating it for the next 5 days as well.
I’ve wondered–Why do eggs stick to the pan from olive oil but not butter?
I’ve run a few tests and it’s very clear now. Olive oil- eggs stick. Butter-no stick. Nice clean scoop and flip.
I don’t know if material matters, but it’s a stainless pan.
Well next step would be to test in a different type of pan … like a non stick … I’d wager they’d stick no matter what in a cast iron
