25-50 pages min a day is my self imposed standard. Depending on the book i average 15-20 a year if they are average length(250-500 pages). I really wish more people my age would read.
That’s a tough question.
Probably on average 5-6 books cover to cover and 3-4 news stories 5 days a week.
In 2013 I read:
Inheritance (4 books)
Game of Thrones
The Hobbit
The Fellowship of the Rings
The Two Towers (not finished)
Revolutionary Summer
2014:
Posterity (currently reading)
*Edit: Plus text book reading…

15-20 cuts into my video game time
I think I average about 3 books a week year round.
Reason my wife made me get an Ipad, so I have a kindle app, nook app and IBook.
We had way to many books at the house and she wanted them all gone.

I recently got a Kindle paperwhite as a gift since my library went from nice office decor to impending hoarder. Was really a hard transition. Didnt touch it for the first few months, thinking I was some kind of purist until I realized I was just being pompous keeping all my “mental trophies” on display. I love it now, about to donate all my old books to a library.

Yea man, my father was the same way. I always said, I needed to have that feeling of a book in my hand.
When you get older you will enjoy the fact you can increase the font size so you dont have to wear your cheaters
Including books I listen too? Like 1 a week. Just reading, it varies depending on if there are books I’m listening to that I really like or not.
I’m currently into a Ken Follett trilogy,
the first was called ‘Fall of Giants’ and it’s a historical fiction based on ww1
the second one (i got about 50 pages left, and im savoring em) is called ‘Winter of the World’ and is based on ww2
the third one isn’t out yet, but I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
strongly recommend these books, great read, especially if you are an European history nerd like me!
probably 1 every 6-8 weeks depending on length.
I have recently started reading much more. Trying to average one a month. Also I try to read the Bible all the way through every year and I read a ton of articles and sections in training books, as well as a story or two out of several books of short stories from magazine columnists that I like, Rick Reilly and Bill Heavey mainly.
i read like 5 Flex magazines a week tbh
2 in my lifetime…

Thats my ballpark figure and I have a Kindle for the same reason.
I read about 12 books a year, and 5-10 articles a day (not including weekends) On a nice weather weekend I might read 5 articles total. On a poor weather weekend I might read 50 articles each day
