Things You Misunderstood At First

I once told them that all people are born girls…live a full life to age 100, then turn into little boys all of a sudden and grow then untill age 100 again…so the oldest people on earth would be 100 year-old men.

I told a few of the boys to go along with me and fool the girls, by telling stories about how they were old women only a few years ago.[/quote]

This just made my day, that’s pure genius Nards.

I do recall that for a while I thought that all goats were males and all sheep were females. When I was about 9 or 10 my family visited this farm one weekend. My sister commented that one of the goats was fat but Mom corrected her that it was pregnant.

“How can a goat get pregnant?”

Last year, I worked wih a Polish man who only spoke broken English.

This story happened before I worked there.

One of the blokes taught him that the word Leukemia meant big/large… Anyway, they finished putting up a huge marquee. The polish bloke decides to walk up to the boss and the client talking about the cost and how happy they were with the job etc… “This marquee is Leukemia”

When I was probably 10ish years old, me and my brothers would play 007 Goldeneye for N64 ALL the time, obviously it was our favorite game ever. One day I saw the MOVIE Goldeneye on TV, and I got super excited and told my brothers “Look, they made a movie out of it!”

I was very disappointed when I found out the game was made based off the movie, not the other way around :frowning:

Proximity mines in the facility, rocket launchers in the temple, sniper rifles in the complex, HmMm golden gun in the bunker, YEP! That’s how we played. Those levels with those weapons went perfectly together.

LOL

I never met any of my great-grandparents so I thought that once your grandchildren became parents you died instantly.

Those were the fucking days.

I used to suffer from cattarrh in my nose and throat alot when younger. When I heard the doctor say I had cattarrh I heard it as “Guitar” so I thought I had a tiny guitar up each nostril and was puzzled at how a guitar could make loads of snot

Thought of this thread when the who-pinball wizard came on in my car a little bit ago. Until just recently I thought the line was that deaf, dumb, and black kid… Instead of that deaf, dumb and blind kid.

Pinball Wizard? I always thought it was Pocket Pool Wizard.

My older sister told me that pepperoni stick were just pigs legs that were cut off and I believed her.

When I was young, I thought you had to go to college to do menial jobs like a cashier, bank teller, burger king, etc.

My cousin tricked me when I was 5. We were at a family event and i had run out of pretzels in my bag. He told me that another word for pretzels was “Fuckers”.

I proceeded to ask my dad where all the “fuckers” were and then received the ass whooping of my life.

I used to think that if you didn’t get married, and you had a baby, that you go immediately to hell as soon as the baby was born, and that’s where orphans came from.

It made me kinda sad when we got our first xbox, and after playing a ton FPS on the xbox, we tried playing 007 again and the controls felt so awkward that we gave up. Using the yellow buttons to look up and down/strafe is so weird and lame once you get used to dual thumbsticks.

I used the thumbstick to control the gun arm, but some of my friends found that too hard so they used it the way that made your arm always point to the front and you’d have to turn your character’s body to shoot.

They were therefore much easier to kill. heh heh.

perfect dark was much cooler than goldeneye IMHO.

When I grew up my parents wouldnt allow me to get a Nintendo 64 or a playstation, but after some
time I got a gameboy. Anyway I had friends who had Nintendo 64 and we used to play multiplayer on Goldeneye
wich sucked for me because the kid who owned it where 100 times better than me and my friends who didnt have it, so he killed us before we even had a chance to move. When Perfect Dark came you could have dumb as shit bots in the multiplayer game and the owner kid where on our team kicking bot ass with us, it was much more fun + the graphic and the special effects where better on perfect dark than it was on Goldeneye.

Perfect Dark is good, but it doesn’t have the same feel as GoldenEye. My friends and I have both back at college, and play N64 multiple time a day everyday, and though we change things up with PD, it’s always GE that is our ‘default’ shooting game. lol. Perfect Dark takes a bit more skill, but nothing beats Goldeneye IMO

Ah, yes, the “meat sims”.

One summer I would stay up until like 3 every night and play perfect dark all by myself with a bunch of meat sims. I was practicing so that during the day I could win against my brother and his friends.

I still lost.

Ah the golden age of video games, I pitty the kids today who havent played the classic nes, snes, 64 and gameboy games. Good graphics doesnt make up for shitty gameplay. ( I havent played consoll games for ten years, so dont really know if the gameplay today is shitty or not )

Lol at you still lost haha
