Hitler.
I mean not for the assinate all Jews campaign, but you have to admit, the guy was a great fucking leader. He took an entire nation from zero to hero…and then ofcourse back to zero
No, I do not have to admit.
Nor do I.
A great fucking leader doesn’t destroy the citizens of his own nation.
Yeah, I don’t even know where to start with that one…
I assume the kid was joking but he needs to read a history book with illustrations before he finds that shit funny.
I hope he was joking as well. Still in poor taste.
I’m always amazed when I hear certain people denying the Holocaust ever happened.
You mentioned illustrations… but I know you meant photographs.
What’s interesting is, I’ve never seen an illustration of the atrocities of the Holocaust. The photos are so raw in telling the story, I can’t imagine a artist capturing that.

Genghis Kahn, Stalin, and Hitler were/are considered great leaders. Now, were they good people? Fuck no. But, they still had the qualities that made people follow them.
They killed you when you did not?
Sure. And, people would kill for him.
Yeah well, if they got the official go, a lot of people would butcher whole villages.
Get em a uniform and a few shiny ribbons and medals and they sterilize a two mile stretch from Seattle to Miami.
That is just human nature, but to get a true sociopath that is functioning well enough to grab power, that is someone special.
They did not kill because they were told to, they killed because they were entitled to it if they could get away with it.
And that is really what malign narcissism boils down to, all in life is power and if they can they are permitted to and almost must.
Of course, sooner or later they live in a world where this is true, which is interesting, because I do not believe that they are the only ones who live in a world that was largely formed by their own expectations.
Orion, i’m not saying what he did was right. Nor, am I saying that he was a kind and decent human being.
Being a good leader doesn’t mean that you’re “good” person. All i’m saying is that he fits the criteria of what makes a good leader.
But in many ways he was not.
Compare a fascist or a socialist “performance” to a rock concert.
A rock concert is transactional, both sides benefit and thats that.
A dictator on his balcony however uses pretty much the same setup, but if you go with the flow you are his bitch, so to speak.
There is little less narcissism in, say, Madonna than in Hitler, but she was contend with seducing you.
He wanted your soul so that you could exorcise his demons. Well, that is true for her too, but her demons where easier to hold at bay, at least.
Followers should get something out of a leader, what did they get out of him?
If your point is that a lot of people followed him, yeah well, be convinced enough of your holy mission and a lot of people will.
Chances are you are barking mad and the people following are a bunch of deluded fools. but follow you they will.
In the end, its a specific type of insanity that exploits a specific human weakness.
You can call that leadership, I call that the Pied Piper 5.0.
