No, I do not have to admit.
Nor do I.

A great fucking leader doesn’t destroy the citizens of his own nation.

George W. Bush

He showed up at my hospital bed – after he was no longer president. He apparently did this a lot at Walter Reed. I was in traction and could not use my hands. He read the entire sports section to me, with knowledgeable and funny commentary.

When he figured out I was a massive Rangers fan, he said he’d get something to me. The next day I got a FedEx with basically every player signed a jersey (“1 Bush”) and a couple balls.

Looking at in on my office wall.

Politics, I may disagree with him, but he is an awesome guy.
Wow! That’s a cool story…

I kid…

I’m sure many people we’ve come to hate or mock would be great people to hang out and have a beer with if we’d only met in person.

I’d hang with Bill Clinton, even if politically we’re off.

and I too have a man crush, so we’re actually equal.

Poliquin hate isn’t too hard to see. 99% he sounds like a damn genius, and 1% of the time he says shit that is just plain retarded. He might just do that to troll folks though.

John McCain would be a great lunch date. Imagine the conversation.

I have close right-wing friends, and close atheist friends, but just because we’re at political and religious odds, we still find common human ground.

Another Tick fan here. The live-action series got cancelled after one season, so it’s not really that well known. Patrick Warburton is in Ted, and I asked a friend, who’d seen the movie and is a self-confessed fan of the cartoon if he’d seen the live-action version. He’d never heard of it.

Terrible, Christmas cracker-grade jokes.

The Bill & Ted movies.

I hope he was joking as well. Still in poor taste.
I’m always amazed when I hear certain people denying the Holocaust ever happened.

You mentioned illustrations… but I know you meant photographs.
What’s interesting is, I’ve never seen an illustration of the atrocities of the Holocaust. The photos are so raw in telling the story, I can’t imagine a artist capturing that.

Poliquin got a bad rap through a penchant for hyperbole and off-the-wall dietary advice. He’s kind of been set up as a living strawman where everything he’s ever said or written is a tissue of lies, including his training methods, which do work - even if he will espouse the anabolic effects of lunch pail trees from the land of Oz.

I didn’t realize just how deep-seated the Waterbury hate was until I stumbled across a thread on another site (I think it was Sherdog). Let’s just say that some of those people should be receiving restraining orders in the near future.

There are the Eichmann tapes.

He describes a few journeys he had to make in his official position.

They are … instructive if you are planning something that requires digging mass graves.

I think it stems from everybody thinking they are experts because they put on a little muscle and if somebody says something different, than damn it they are wrong!
Well it’s their loss, Waterbury methods work way better than they should, he’s done his homework, he knows his shit and he dared to tread where others were afraid. The ideas he pioneered years ago are starting to work their way in to every ‘experts’ advice. Further, he’s a hell of a nice guy and will give you the time of day, which I respect because so many others are too good for you…

Poliquin’s off the wall advice sounds weird and fucked up, until you try it and the damn thing works. Besides I like his dry sense of humor, I guess some folks cannot take a joke.
