Things We Can Ban Instead of Video Games

The soccer thread made me think of this. Apparently the “real man” sport is watching soccer, it’s more deadly.

I just hate it when people rail against videogames. I’ve never thought to cause harm to someone after playing a game. I didn’t go out and kill a hooker, take her money, then pull a cop out of his cop car and speed away with it… like in grand theft auto. And I RARELY run through the halls of buildings avoiding ghosts and eating floating spheres and fruits.

Although, there was a study that had kids/teenagers go to a gun range and shoot an actual gun for the first time. They had violent videogame players and ones that had never played violent games. The violent game players did significantly better, usually aiming for the middle of the chest. Granted, I’m sure there was some rocket-whore in the group who tried to jump up and aim where the target was going to be.

As a call of duty player i habitually aim for the feet [fuck “last stand” perk} in gun ranges.

I saw a halo player at the gun range the other day. He would sight the target, aim, jump, shoot.

i usually just get in prone and then theyre all like “AW WTFffffffffffffffffff!!!”

before i go to the gun range i have to decide if i want to put the red dot site OR the supressor on.

b/c you know, i can’t keep them both on.

All that tells me is that we are making better soldiers. One step closer to militarizing an entire nation like Sparta…that’d be sweet. Cross my fingers…

LOL, better soldiers. Most of these kids think a .50 cal Deasert Eagle is the “best” gun to operate in the feild. Man would the nation of DE swinging skinnies get whupped.

BLAM
