Real hip hop isn’t marketed at all, let alone to kids.
Not even kids want to listen to it.
I’d make an argument with music that there isn’t really an easy genre or easy instrument if you want to be among the best. Bass guitar is considered the easiest to learn out of the instruments in rock type music. That I think just means the easiest to be passable. To be the best, it is equal I think. The best bass players put in the time just like the best guitarists or drummers. The easier the learning curve, the more someone will have to master the fine details to be considered great.
The best rappers spend a lot of time developing their craft. It is not easy to do what they do.
A saying that pisses me off lately

What are you? A demon possessing a fat meat suit? Nobody lives in a larger body (at least not the kind of obese body they are talking about). You’re just fat. Maybe obese. And you sound like an absolute moron.
I am a very large dude at 6’3 and 290 - decently built now, but I used to be a fat teenager and even with my puny, not fully grown brain I realized a large part of why I was fat was because I wasn’t taking care of my body.
People may be more genetically predisposed to having a little more weight and not being able to cut down to a six pack. Nobody is born with “obese genes”.

Is it easier to have the guitar skills of Kurt Cobain or Segovia? Is it easier to write a rap song, or an album’s worth of rap songs, or write a symphony? How many women could potentially do what Cardi B does vs the number of women who could perform Aida on stage? It’s like comparing the writing of a kid’s book to a novel.
Who the hell “seriously” listens to music, it’s for the reason of enjoyment.
Most people don’t regard Cobain as a great guitar player. I think he even said he wasn’t very technically proficient. He also didn’t think he was a good singer. He has mentioned Cornell and Staley having better voices than he did. His strength was song writing.
What I am saying is that people have perceptions about instruments being hard or easy, but to be great at any of them is about equal. To play bass like Geddy Lee, or Les Claypool takes as much effort as it does to play guitar like Randy Rhodes or Eddie Van Halen.
I don’t consider what Cardi B does as great. To compare her to the greats of rap music is an insult. Comparing Cardi B to Tupac is like comparing writing a kids book to a novel.

Maybe it is just me, but I am just not really a fan of female rap music. I don’t think it is a genre that really suits women. Perhaps it is because they are trying to emulate male rappers too much? IDK. It also could be that it is just not meant for male listeners. I haven’t identified with any songs from female rappers.
I could even say that I am not really a fan of current rap. Or at least what I have heard I don’t really like. I can relate to rap in the 90s. Most of what I hear now I just don’t relate to. I’ll say that of modern rock too. There is likely stuff in both genres that I would like, but I haven’t found it, and the mainstream stuff I so far don’t like.

I would argue that playing piano like Oscar Peterson would take more effort than playing guitar like Eddie Van Halen. I would also argue that you could take two groups of 100 random people and teach one to play electric guitar and the other classical. More people in the electric guitar group would end up capable of playing Eruption than people in the classical guitar group could play a piece of classical music like Christopher Parkening.
That is being very generous to Cardi B.
