My boss hates meetings and tries to minimize them so we can actually do work. But I’m involved on a bunch of different teams so today I have a 9, a 930, an 11 and a 2. Possibly a 4 we’ll see.

Mine used to go up $20.00/week/year, so about 1k per year, and the only thing that changed was that the cute chick that used to deflect my questions with her titties was gone, replaced by some awkward overweight girl with one of those completely flat personality affectations.
I’m like “If you’re gonna run a white trash baby fight club, at least gimme some eye candy!”.

What’s up with people printing stuff and handing you a copy at your desk. I have access to the same printer you do asshole!
The worst are the people who actually stamp it with “copy” or write your name on it. Unless you’re an 80 year old judge, fuck off.
Last month, I had some lady do this and when I asked her to drop a digital copy for me to pick up, she went and scanned it then sent that to me. She literally printed it before coming to my desk. WTF?!?

I still get shit faxed to me on rare occasions by people I regularly communicate with via email. This pisses me off more than it should.
Why do fax machines still exist?
I worked on a project to replace fax machines throughout the place I was working. We got everyone done except one area. The group there “faced too big a business process and change management burden to move to the new system”.
Basically you got a mailbox, all your faxes arrived as email Anything send via that mailbox with a phone number as the destination would get faxed out. The MDF worked to fax out as well.
They just loved faxing…
We still have people that want you to print, sign, scan, and re-send documents where I work. Fuuuuuuuuuuck that. What year is it…?

Oh, here’s a big peeve I never mentioned, one that makes my blood boil: co-workers who do not greet or respond to greetings. I notice this most amongst late Millenials and Gen Z’ers. I’ve hardly noticed it in early millenials, Gen X’ers, or boomers. I’ve never seen in it in managers of any sort.
There’s something extremely rude and even offensive about it, especially when one works with others for months or years!
This strikes a tie with excessive staring.

You can always tell who spent time in a blue collar environment prior to their white collar job. An actual encounter in the break room of my first post-college job:
Me: “hey how was your weekend?”
Coworker: “mostly silent, no eye contact, clear case of the Mondays”
Me: “Guess I’ll go fuck myself then!”
Coworker: “quite surprised, still silent”

I’m very pissed at France at the moment.
I’m not sure if you recall, but back on April 4 2017, a Muslim refugee by the name of Kobili Traoré broke into the apartment of 65 year old Orthodox Jewish woman by the name of Sarah Halimi. They had never met, as far as anyone can tell. He attacked her, beat her while reciting verses from the Koran, and then threw her off of her balcony to her death, after which he screamed "a woman is trying to kill herself” to try to cover up his crime.
His defense is he was very high on pot and “I felt persecuted. When I saw the Torah and a chandelier in her home I felt oppressed.”
Apparently, the French prosecutors buy this Sudden Jihad Defense and are not going to charge him with the murder, but rather send him to outpatient psychiatric care to take care of his pot problem and anger issues. (The decision is currently subject to appeal.)
Anyway, if you feel like killing some Jews, go to France. Apparently, in France, simply being Jewish is sufficient provocation to defend against a murder charge.

I feel like there is a lot more to this story.
But regardless, you shouldn’t be able to kill someone and only receive outpatient medical care. Also, this isn’t helping the Muslim refugee community any as it’s just stoking anger against them.

Well, he did claim refer madness.
Concerns about a nationalist party (which is less antisemitic in France, but more anti-Muslim) gaining power was stated as a motivation for not covering the murder.
From that wiki it sounds like that POS had a psychotic break and killed a woman. The first family he attacked would have been killed but they escaped, so he killed someone else. Demonic possession seems big in a few African cultures, so that’s probably the only way he knew how to describe what he felt. I don’t really see the antisemitism though, he didn’t attack or kill her b/c she was Jewish.
He has history of being an asshole and shit member of society. I’d charge him with the max sentence for manslaughter and kidnapping… Likely life.
