Nah, I’m just good at being active in class.
Freshman year, I was the most active person by far in my freshman seminar class despite hating the material and spending class time doing calc homework

I like sloths, they look so dumb.
Oh man would you love my in-laws
They eat and nap all day and barely move. They may look dumb but they have the good life figured out.
John Waters is on Gutfeld! on Fox News tonight and he’s amazing. You know he doesn’t agree with 1% of what the rest of the panel believes but he’s civil and funny and awesome.
I wrote up an idea for a student org event last fall, and it took a lot of planning. The event ran from the beginning of this semester til now (the last day). It was a success!
This is from my game theory prof (my friend (that one)‘a advisor) . I took another one of his classes with my team
I am so unbelievably happy
Got an unexpected 10% raise today!

Congratulations!
Final grades for a class came out today.
I did pretty bad on the exam and ended with an 83. The cutoff is 90. I go to check my official grade and the prof gave me an A
That’s 7percentage points of participation credit ![]()
Got the grade back for the research paper I’d been working on all semester. 99%! Professor who’s been teaching the course (capstone course for history majors) for over 20 years said it was the best one he’s ever read. Once I left his office I teared up a bit. I put a lot of work into it and his praise meant a lot.
When I win playing slots. And all I have to invest when I play at the syndicate casino is some relaxation and good time! And you can end up rich! My kinda day.
Where are you from? Our unheated pool is already up to 90 degrees here in Texas.
It will be almost 90 in Maine tomorrow and there was still ice on the lakes just north of me at the start of May.
There’s actually an emergency weather advisory reminding people that the 45 degree water is still cold enough to kill you very quickly if you decide to go for a swim, even though it will be almost 90 degrees.
Living in the north makes me happy.
Say what you will about the black flies, but I like that they keep the weak-willed out of “muh woods”.
I’m just hoping that we are earning some kind of resilience against lime disease by occasionally getting devoured by ticks, but I don’t think that’s how it works.
It’s the lone star bite that worries me most. I didn’t think a New England insect could strike fear in me until I learned about that evil little bastard.
What is your paper about?
AIM (American Indian Movement) being more of a spiritual group, rather than a political one. We were told to pick (almost) anything from American history and just go to town with it. Use plenty of primary sources! It’s not the biggest accomplishment ever, just an undergrad research paper, but I’m proud of it. I’m very interested in AIM, and have semi-serious intentions of writing a book on it someday. I feel it’s a largely “unnoticed” chapter of US history. My professor really enjoyed my thesis/approach. He’s an old libertarian dude who’s real goofy but loves history. Said in an email that “most historians have largely ignored the spiritual element of AIM” so mine was a much-needed perspective, haha. Changing the world one semester at time ![]()
