Things That Make You Happy

Seeing this has made me happy

Oddly enough training makes me happy, like most people on here I imagine. I love going into my garage at 5am, putting on a podcat and getting an hour in while the rest of the house are asleep. I can plan my day ahead. Its really starting the day off with a win.

That’s legitimately resourceful of you. I both admire and envy you!

As for law school, I graduated from it seven years ago. Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, creative argumentation, and analytical reasoning are all very good cognitive abilities, and I believe you’ve exhibited them all in your posts.

I reckon there are some ABA-approved law schools near you. I’d also be willing to bet they’d love to let an undergraduate student sit in on a class or two and get a feel for what law school entails. Call some local law schools, tell them your interests, and ask about getting a couple tours.

Likewise. Probably needing potassium.

The treadmills at school can be used as treadmill desks!
I’ll basically never have to give up my activity level-> won’t have any to cut in grad school!

My wife has been making me watch this shitfest on Netflix called Love is Blind. Truly a painful experience, we watched the last episode…

The next bit is a spoiler:

The romantic carnage of that last episode where there is just crying and awkward silence was pretty golden. It was no Samuel L Jackson accidentally blowing a guy’s head off after going over a speed bump but it was reasonably satisfying. Sadly, it wasn’t all couples.

That show seems so unbelievably stupid.

I can confirm that this is the case. On the bright side, I did sleep through half of most of them lol

Nothing helps me sleep better than my wife wanting me to watch something with her. It’s like a natural sleep aid.

I find the best sleep aid for me is reading certain threads involving a certain young Aussie

I know this got a lot of likes, but I’m sooooooo interested in this, as someone with a lot of knowledge on the subject - meaning I’ve seen like 4 videos of people getting all emotional with those sunglasses.

Seriously though, that’s super cool. Is it weird that my first instinct is to tell you to go rewatch Up and Finding Nemo?

Not at all. It’s completely changed the way I see everything. It blows my mind how much of a difference it makes. It doesn’t fee real when I wear them.

Can you wear them 24/7 or does it bother your eyes/not work/you don’t care to after a while? I know nothing about them.

I have the sunglasses. I’m waiting to order regular glasses. I only take them off inside because I’d rather be color blind than a Dbag

Thanks for posting that, I had no idea and have two sons who are affected. These are a game changer.
