I think whoever did it was just scratching for state names. The average Brits knowledge of American geography is not much better than the average Americans knowledge of British geography.

Ohio is every state that doesnāt touch the ocean to me.
Kansas is basically the same, but south of the Mason Dixon.

How did he get West Virginia right? He got Texas, California, Washington, Florida (basically), Wisconsin, and West Virginia correct. Also Georgia, sort of. And Arkansas. He didnāt even get Virginia right. How did he get West Virginia right? And if he go West Virginia right, how did he not guess that Virginia was to the east of West Virginia? Why is Virginia to the west of West Virginia?

Is Kansas even South of the Mason Dixon line? Pretty sure the Mason Dixon line is the Southern Border of Missouri.

Just to clarify: that was just a random picture i pulled off a quick google search. Itās probably more detailed than most Brits would get. If i asked most of my colleagues to fill it in, theyād probably get Florida, California and maybe Texas right, and everything in between would be just one big shrug.
