Little kids and teenagers who somehow use logical, rational arguments to thwart executives, politicians and scientists. It’s just too much reality suspension.
I get a weird kind of anxious feeling when a character in a movie is given some phone number or special code that is important and they don’t write it down.
Sort of like how you hold your breath when a character goes underwater in a movie…I do the same thing but try and remember the number that was read to the character.
Ok, classic one.
Dumb bitch run up the stairs instead of going to the door.
Subverted with Scream 4

That particular camera trick where the camera pulls back yet the lens zooms in.
Way overdone, predictable, and no longer effective. [/quote]
Ah! That’s how they do that! Always wondered… Seems so obvious now…

There is also that sound that is used for every metal door opening or closing. Even in games you here that same sound.

When a car comes to a screeching halt with two wheels hanging off the edge of a cliff.
-
When the male lead practically gets molested by some hot slutty chick, and the female lead/romantic interest happens by just in time to catch them at it.
-
When the female lead, who up to this point has shown herself to be tough, intelligent, and cool-headed, suddenly starts acting like a psycho hose beast as a result of 2) above.
Yes, Captain America, I’m looking at you.
It’s not really about a movie, but if I hear clapping one more time, I will kill everyone in the theater.
That thing in comedies (especially those shitty ones like Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie) where someone gets hit in the crotch and the other people who saw it happen go "OOoooohhh!’ and cringe while putting their hands sort of over their mouths if you know what I mean.
Out-takes AFTER the credits roll.

Out-takes and bloopers added at the end of animated films. That bullshit is just too much unnecessary and unfunny effort.
Maybe this has already been mentioned, but super-hot chicks falling in love with the fat, stupid male lead?
If it were anywhere close to being real, those sorts of movies would end with the hot girl saying: “You are so funny and charming, and you saved my life and helped all of those children, and I realize no one could ever love me as much as you, but I think we’d be better off as friends.” Then she’d ride off with some other asshole on his motorcycle.

I dunno everytime I see a chase scene on foot, where the bad guy is being chased by the good guy. It always seems that the bad guy knocks over everyone that he sees, but the good guy manages to avoid everyone, or at least apologizes for it.
Read through all 15 pages of replies but no one has yet mentioned this:
His star has waned but seriously, why does he have a running scene in (almost) every movie?

So it takes up more time. Time not focused on him actually acting.

Would you rather see him shirtless or naked?
