Congratulations, that’s awesome!

I think so… things have really seemed to settle for me this past year. I’m a better person than I was 2 years ago and I think that I’m ready for this.[/quote]

Amazing to hear. Usually you hear about how nothing can truly prepare you for fatherhood. I’m certainly not one to speak from experience, but since I hit my 30’s, I’ve at least TRIED to be more responsible -lol. You have such a teacher-ly way about you Christian, I’m sure you’ll make an excellent Father.

Thanks Stu, I hope that it’s true. My father and my mother are both psychologists and told me that when it comes to your child, everything your learned is thrown out the window. But I think that with the love I have to give I can pull it off.

Okay, gotta do 10 sets of squat to make this moment a bit more manly!

Dont worry Coach…fatherhood comes with the flow…im 31 and got my first at 22…when they are raised in the most important thing that is love everything goes!! I m sure your kid will be well surounded!

Cheers to you and your family!!, learned that my wife is pregnant for my 3rd a month ago! They will be about the same age

I’m not the most touchy-feely guy either but what you say is true. If you’ve got the love the rest will take care of itself. I was terrified of fatherhood and when my wife was pregnant there would be moments when I would get a sort of panic attack and have trouble breathing for a minute or two. I thought for sure that I would be a terrible dad based on crap from my own childhood (which wasn’t terrible, just not ideal). But the minute they let me hold her after my daughter was born, all that went away and I knew everything was going to be all right. Turns out that being a dad isn’t really that hard. It’s mostly common sense. Just think back how you would have wanted to be treated as a kid and do that. Did your parents make some mistakes? I hope not, but if so, then do the opposite of what they did. And above all, know that your kids are looking at you as a role model and to set the example. Kids are smarter than we give them credit - they can spot a hypocrit. That’s really about all there is to it.

sweeeet.

Really late to the party but just wanted to say congrats and enjoy! Take some time parental leave if you can, not too long though

Felicitations! Awesome in every aspect.

Damn, your kid’s gonna be fucking strong or what?
I imagine him overhead press you once he’s 15.
Congrats.

Congratulations on all the good news.

Many happy years are wished to you and your family, i am sure you will make a great father.

Heck i think most of the site has learned alot from you, i’m sure your child will learn to.

Merry upcoming Christmas and New Year, it holds alot in store

congrats

That baby, boy or girl, is going to be glorious.

What’s cute as heck is that it you were so jazzed about being a dad that within 10 minutes of getting the news you were on the computer telling EVERYONE. So incredibly sweet :).
