Because it’s just a light dose to give me the same levels I probably had when I was in my mid 20s( I’m 43). I’m a light juicer that just wants that goddamn 600 lb DL son.
I’ll take this. I think it’s more acceptable to say this than say one is a TRT patient when he’s not.
Likely hardly any eugonadal men have a level over 1000.
All correct. This is why there are so many trt clinics now
Because of this so called optimal t level that everyone is trying to get. Such bullshit. It’s such a scam. Just look at some of these fat 40 year old + doctors handing out scripts at these clinics, basically feeding off men’s insecurities as they age. Very few men are
Actually hypogonadal. The body is very good at regulating itself.
I see a lot of people bashing nichols here. I spoke with him on a telemedicine call awhile ago. I will admit he is lacking in people skills for sure, but I do think he means well, and I like what he stands for. I still think he’s one of the better big shot trt docs out there (he obviously keeps up with the literature and knows his shit). And I also like that he’s on trt himself. Personally, I would never go to a doctor that wasn’t on trt himself anymore.
what u mean he lacking people skills, specifically
On here, he was a total rude jackass. People knew who he was professionally on this site, yet he continued to treat others condescendingly. His bedside manner is awful.
And i believe other members who dealt with him personally confirmed the same. Very much a small man syndrome.
Better than most endocrinologists I’ve encountered atleast.
He knows his stuff, but people who dont listen usually got him heated. Oh well. Some guys get sensitive and need a pretty please with sugar on top
Oh yea I remember him completely freaking out in one of the threads here, becoming super emotional, acting extremely unprofessionally. His name is like “Yeti” right?
Always the same with the estrogen-dudes, always so damn emotional, just like women. Such a coincidence.
@equel There you go again with generalizations. Plus not to mention you get very emotional too. Lots of cursing, insults, dog-piling, bandwagoning to name a few. Kettle meet pot.
Ofcourse I do, and everytime I do Its when my estrogen is fucked up (as of right now running 1g test).
The difference is I acknowledge it and Im aware of my estrogen-problems. The times when my e2 is low, Im way more “chill” and relaxed.
But every freaking guy who claims high e2 is not problematic, ALWAYS seem to sperg out like a mad “man” when you question them. Seen it again and again here and on all the other forums. Huge ego, cant take criticism, cant fucking take that somebody have a different opinion. Question them and they start calling you all kinds of bullshit and yes, even professionalls like Nichols seem to do it.
Maybe e2 creates more problems that they are actually aware of but is obvious to the people around them (their mood issues).
“I feel awesome man!!” … hey dude i dont agree with … “WHAT ARE U SAYING, U LOW IQ LOSER, I WILL BAN U!”
You make a valid point with the ego stuff. But you’re telling me that you only come on here when your Estrogen is high? Your track record is very consistent, and your patience has a low threshold. I admit that one can lose their temper with some folks here. Its all too easy when you have nothing to lose.
Running 1g of Test is not for everyone and I would prolly run some AI with that much T. But at TRT doses, I dont think its necessary for the majority of men. Thats just my pov. Not set in stone.
I think that is pretty reasonable as a stance and I agree with it.
I think perhaps if other drugs are being used, it can complicate things even with TRT dosages. For example, finasteride is getting popular in the TRT world. Guys want to have the body and the hair. With fin, I think more guys are gonna need an AI, as they will convert more E2, and have less androgens to balance it out.
All I am saying with the last example is that there is nuance involved. Some try to make things too simple. Some guys may need an AI even just with TRT, but it probably is a minority.
Interesting point. Never considered it. I suppose the simple the better, is not always the way for some dudes. I wish I had the more hair but Im used to my hair thinning as I get into my 50s
This is usually brocode for ‘I can’t find an endocrinologist willing to give me what I want.’
Not really, I live in Norway, sure if you’re in the US you’ll find knowledgeable doctors.
No, but nor am I crazy and argumentative every time Im here. However, despite my e2 level im kinda fucking pissed off at the “let e2 run as high as possible man, dont even check it, e2 is lovely stuff!” - people, as it had me fucked up for a long while.
Prob not neccesary for the majority, but some seem to indeed need it.
Understood. Your POV makes a lot more sense now. Thanks
You should probably be pissed off at your own straw man arguments. To have a proper discussion, you really need to understand what the side you’re arguing against, is actually saying and not saying.
I’ve never heard any educated person actually say, “let e2 run as high as possible man, dont even check it, e2 is lovely stuff!”
What they actually say, is that while on TRT doses(not 1000mg per week), the body will regulate itself with regards to test converting to E2. And that the overwhelming majority of men on trt doses, do not need an AI.
Which of course is nothing even close to saying, “ “let e2 run as high as possible man, dont even check it, e2 is lovely stuff!”
Peruse this board. It’s there quite a bit. Not verbatim.
