Yeah like NFL and NBA players, now there go some humble folk… or some nutsack who thinks he a 00 spy and gets mad when nobody pays him any attention.

So, I wonder aloud, why would a guy, that has spent so much effort and therefore knows the value of that effort (one assumes) spend so many countless fucking hours never tiring of telling some faceless, nameless, clueless, and perhaps hopeless alias on a web forum, that they dont know shit.

That. I admit. Puzzles me.

Im not saying the X is a fraud, but that this one thing is something that is odd, to me.

Would you like to know how many times I was asked, “why are you going into the military”? I did it to help people. I also wanted to gain some experience, but I also did it to help people. I took a pay cut and decided the experience would be worth it. I wouldn’t expect you or anyone else to understand why I post on this forum. Most people wouldn’t do a whole lot of things I’ve done.

As for my credentials (outside of already giving this info out a lot this week) pm me and I doubt that will be an issue for you ever again. I’ve never had to lie here and I haven’t. You can be suspicious all you want. Just know that everyone isn’t motivated by the same things.[/quote]

Well, I wouldnt say Im suspicious, and I appreciate you giving a shit if I was which we know you wouldnt have to… just that I think it is unusual, for the reasons mentioned and as you yourself seem to recognize. I just dont see what you can get out of it, but I guess you get something and thats fine, you know, whatever.

I keep hearing about how this site used to be hardcore, near the beginning. I guess now it is populated more with college-aged kids that like to fuck around alot and be cute.

To be honest, the only “hardcore” post has come from DS007. Coz in a hardcore zone people challenge each other, get in each other’s faces from time to time, call each other out. DS007 has challenged X to a lifting competition, with videos. So - lets get to it. Either this is a hardcore site, where people are serious, or all this is just masturbation.

DS007 - X: set up a time etc, and lets see your best lifts, on video, no excuses. In fact, TC if youre still lurking, why not have a section on the new site for people wishing to post videos of their best lifts etc. Then we can see who is full of shit. Since this is a lifting site and all…

Scotacus - You know everyone has a profile that they are free to upload pictures and videos to, right?

While I certainly dont speak for Prof X, It appears as though he trains for size, and he has accomplished that very nicely. Unless DS007 (Hack Wilson) is comparable weight wise (270) it really makes no sense to compare the two.

How about we compare how much muscle mass they are carrying? Or how fast they can run? Or how many beers they can drink in 5 minutes… None of it means shit unless the person has specifically trained for that goal.

Ok, youre right. Still, it might be interesting to have a visible gallery. As it is now, most people usually post videos in threads where they uploaded to youtube. Its just taking this site in a different direction. For example, if over time that gallery gained recognition or a type of status by members, then it might add a certain “legitimacy”. Seems recently the complaint is that people do more posting than lifting. Right now there is no onus on showing off your efforts, and that probably has to change. The site needs to actively encourage “walking the walk”.

Re DS007 & X – I dont mean a total weight powerlifting comp. Just show what you got. DS007 has lifted at the elite level, so lets see some elite lifts. X somewhere I think mentioned he can press 4 plates, so…

Could be wrong here, but a site cannot be the hardcore thing X imagines when everyone is content with posting words. Even texasguy, bless his heart, can do that.

Dear god. What you meant to say was:
“The dost not require forgiveness, my son. For all thy posts on His thread are all that thou dost require of worship. If thou truly felt belief of him was shittiness, thou wouldst not have responded.”

Leave the archaic language to the professionals, son. I haven’t see it that bad since Erik Larsen stopped writing Thor dialogue.

X, good luck finding the next phase.

If you make it back this way, there’ll always be a place for you at the table.
