Hey Greg… thanks for coming over to the old folks home.

Went to first day of PT yesterday. She gave me the green light to run slow… like 11 and a half minute pace… don’t run fast at end etc. A bunch of other stuff i can and can’t do. I can resurect the leg day and do some very specific stuff she mentioned. So I ran 25 minutes last night at 5 mph, did some static stuff she showed me and then iced my left ass cheek as directed.

What bodyweight were you at in those pics?

I would never call that physique skinny. Very, umm, nice indeed.

Thanks kpsnap! FarmerBrett I was 168. PJR pullovers are a cross between a pullover and a skull crusher. Without trying it… when you watch someone do it, it just looks like pure shitty form but the stretch on the tris is awesome. here is a quick video i found of someone doing it with a dumbell. You don’t end with your arms perpendicular to your body like skull crushers but out at an angle. A lot of people also report that these don’t bother their elbows like skull crushers do.

We’ll hello there! You are very observant Mrs. DJHT. I go out and get it on a weekend usually. My wife kills it in two seconds and I carry mine around all day. So its always easy to tell which one belongs to me and which one belongs to her.

Lovin the WG pullups broheim!

Hi there…hope you don’t mind younger people visiting your log.
I’ll be 32 in a couple weeks, but might as well be in an old folks home with my ailments.

Pass the fiber!

Sucks about the injury but good in a way that you found exactly what was wrong.

Thanks Matty. I’ve been working them hard the last few weeks since i started eating more. Being that I am comning off my lightest weitht, i thought it would make sense. Seems to be working well.

Hi Mom in MD. I have a secret… I’m only 34! So I don’t belong here either. I snuck in with this great fake ID i got. So it’s all good. Please feel free to pop by anytime. Injuries suck for sure. I am glad to know what it is. I had my second PT appointment today and have been following strict instructions to ice my ass. So far… so good. My legs have become twigs though. Gotta get better and fix that. Thanks for stopping in.

New guy buys the beer! Especially a Jersey boy…I was raised in Midland Park, lived in Denville, went to college at Drew in Madison, would be arrested if I ever showed up on campus again…oh and welcome…Impressive volume … hammie injuries suck, go slow and take extra time before putting the hammer down on them… and remember respect your elders (haha)

Only 34! Uh oh, the Whippesnapper Police will be on your tail! There’s no escape. “Come out with your hands up, we know you’re posting . . .”

You find all sorts of lifters here though offically 5/3/1 is the only acceptable routine.[/quote]

Welcome to the home.

Morning DJ, looking good as always.

That sir, is a lot of volume.

morning guys.

Out of curiosity, how long are you usually at the gym for?

Hi ddot. I lift in my garage. Lately its been between an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half tops. Thursday i had an early morning meating so I flew through in 60 minutes. I’m not taking a ton of rest. A lot of that stuff is warmup. It took me today like an hour to do shoulders and lets say 20 minutes for the calves but prob less. i used a stopwatch there and never got out of the rack. So it was probably closer to 15 minutes.

Like the side raises. i did five sets with under a minute rest… and then i did the waterfall thing with the remaining dumbells with no rest… prob got 6 to 8 more reps per drop. That whole thing could not of taken more than 10 minutes.

edit… i did take a lil more time for the top sets of presses and shrugs. But for everything else its pretty quick.
