The War on Drugs

I think you have me confused with yourself. Go back and read the thread.

So if I start discussing bowel movements, skin conditions, and food preferences that would all be relevant t the discussion, right?

I can agree with that if that’s what it is, but what is there to like about someone when that is all there is to know?

It’s irritating. It’s not homophobia when someone puts homosexuality out there as their only characteristic, then calls people homophobe when they tell that person to move the fuck along because there really just one dimensional.

I did this because he equated homosexuality to raping kids and animals… sticking you’re dick in a CHILD is very different to that of a consenting, grown adult… same goes for say… a horse (have you seen that documentary “zoo”…)

Now you want to talk religion?

Damn kid. You really don’t mind throwing some shoulders around in a conversation. :joy:

(just so we’re clear, that was a joke)

Nah. My psyche is damaged from enough real violence. I don’t need that type of stimulus.

Lol, a good one at that too. You made me smile

It’s a big thread and I’m not going back through everything. Best I can tell at one point you brought that up and then started kicking and screaming about how you shouldn’t have to read stuff. You even said you brought it up.

No. Neither is heavy metal but it didn’t hurt anything. Threads never are 100% on topic here and you know that. You shouldn’t expect people to be careful about what they say because you might not want to read stuff and they should know that. The answer is for you to either accept that on a political message board you might read something you don’t like or simply don’t read.

That’s the only reason I posted. Pretty entitled thinking to tell people that you shouldn’t have to read certain things when you can control what you read. Even more so when the discussion apparently started from you brining something related to it up.

If you could tie all 3 together somehow that would be downright magical!

I love kfc… But it aggravates my acne and gives me loose bowel movements. Some gay people eat KFC, as do those who take drugs (and don’t take drugs)

It’s all LINKED!

@SkyzykS

As to religion prior. I was contemplating creating a thread on religion… But I’d piss a lot of people off with my ideology (as a brief summary, I dislike organised religion)

I was trying to discuss the actual topic of this thread, but in every response he was including something related to his sexual orientation or his experiences with other men. It was completely irrelevant to the discussion, including my analogy with gay rights, and now the thread is completely derailed.

We can get back to the initial topic at hand then

Regarding MDMA, what proposal do you propose we instate to either

  • deter use (if realistically possible within a first world, democratic, secular society)
  • minimise potential harms? Fishing through some thirteen y/olds underwear is rather traumatising, esp when the sniffer dogs they use to weed out those in possession are statistically incorrect about 2/3rds of the time in NSW… This isn’t harm minimisation, it’s creating trauma

We’ve had plenty of those. I’m not at all interested in something like that, but there have been a few posters who love them.

On the subject combo:

“After eating an entire bowl of my sun burnt skin peeling, I literally shit myself.”.

:joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:

You don’t even know what the argument is about but somehow you feel the need to jump into it and base your position on “best I can tell”.

No… The argument started like 6-10 posts prior to his initiation of discussion. In my eyes you were being judgemental and somewhat rude, telling me “we don’t need this kind of confession on here”

  • it’s my thread
  • I’m not “confessing”
  • telling me “we don’t need this” hints there’s something wrong with me… There is, but my sexual orientation (probably heterosexual) isn’t one of them

Let’s drop this argument and talk ABOUT DRUGS

MDMA harm minimisation/deterrants… What can we REALISTICALLY do. I have no problem regulating the drug. It isn’t particularly addictive, it doesn’t appear pure MDMA induces significant ailment (early studies linking MDMA usage to neurotoxicity were significantly flawed, though given the pharmacokinetics of the drug I do believe repeated, chronic abuse would lead to serotonergic neurotoxicity.

And I can cry if I want to, cry if I want to…

In that case, I will see myself out.

Or… You could just move past the initial argument and continue with the initial discussion

But if you want out because you dislike homosexuality and aren’t willing to even tolerate brief discussion about it… I say good riddance

You are obsessed.

You sound just like the guy @SkyzykS was talking about.

Not exactly. Im not aggressive at all, you were the one

  • making comparisons regarding homosexuality/beastiality
  • you were the one trying to stifle a conversation regarding homosexuality on this thread… Something of which you have no right to do (pushing you’re own little agenda)

You got you’re panties up in a bunch about this (admittedly as did I)

Skyzyz was talking about someone who gets agressive over the slightest provocation. When someone implies “sodomy should’ve been illigal” then compares being gay with raping children, the majority will say “uhhhh… What?”

It’s a deserved response, not disproportionate… Esp given you’re judgemental, condescending response to what you percieved to be my “confession”

Explain to me why we should stigmatise and/or discriminate against homosexuality when this

  • is two consenting adults men/women having relations
  • isn’t a choice

I’ve asked this numerous times and never gotten an answer

As @SkyzykS stated prior, disliking a gay person if they’re a douche is acceptable… Disliking a gay person because he’s gay is very different though… It’s discrimination upon the basis of an attribute one cannot control. In my opinion this is ignorant and it’s steeped within a lack of understanding

I read an idiotic post where someone said “I brought up sodomy but shouldn’t have to hear about this!” I was saying I wasn’t sure it was the first time anyone brought up sodomy since the thread was massive. I merely called you out for trying to tell people it was their job to make sure you didn’t read certain things. I thought liberals were supposed to be the ones who were “snowflakes” and needed “safe spaces?”

Also you’ve got a problem with best I can tell? From the dude who says “from my porch in Canada it looks like the US is having x problem!” No I haven’t attempted to look into it just from where I’m sitting. Come on.

Go back and read the initial arguement… Beastiality comment is comment 660
