The War on Drugs

The idea is that when you move into an area you start them off with something pretty basic, then once you have built a base of knowledge about working in an office, the technology, the language and culture in the US etc, you can move a slightly more complex (and therefore higher bill rate) project in and move your catalogue order line on to the next totally undeveloped area.

Cool, I am moving my operation to Arizona. The labour laws here in Mexico are actually tighter than the ones in the UK.

Arizona has a very good business environment. What do you do?

Business process outsourcing, basically we take US jobs and offshore them to places with a lower cost base. ;-)[/quote]

Cool. Cheaper goods.

If I understand this correctly, America is financing both sides of the war on drugs and the war on terrorism. How can they not see this

CNN poll says 95 percent of people want marijuana legalized

If legalized, how long before the ADA protects drug addicts?

Marijuana isn’t physiologically addictive.

The Massachusetts House and Senate just introduced bills that would legalize and tax sales, cultivation, and importation of pot. HR 2929 and Senate Bill 1801.

You have to be 21.

Pot would be divided into 3 grades based on thc concentration:
A-10% and up, taxed at $250 an ounce
B- 5-10%, $200/ounce
C- up to 5%, $150/ounce

A cultivation license would be $500 per year. I’m not sure if there’s a limit on the number of plants.

Honestly, those taxes seem a little steep, as you can get an ounce of pretty good bud now for $200-250 (I think, someone else from MA can correct me if I’m wrong.) It would be sweet to be able to get it without sweating the law enforcement end of it, and the growing license is actually a decent deal as you can get up to an ounce/plant even in small setups.
