Bring Lucille into the show!! I wonder if they do bring in Negan and Lucille that if he will use the Lucille on another character other than Glenn. I feel like the writers of the show don’t want to break up Glenn and Maggie.
COMIC BOOK SPOILER BELOW!!!
I was hoping Negan would take it and make it Lucille. Because people don’t want Glenn and Maggie to to break up is the exact reason that they should. That being said I’m open to having Maggie or somebody else die instead of Glenn. And to really fuck with people they’ll eventually have to have kill America’s x-bow toting hilly billy with a heart of gold. That’ll be sad though because he is one of the few characters with “character”.

I agree with you. To me the only characters in the show they will not kill off are Rick and Michonne. I would say Carl too but his character in the show kind of sucks. I guess you might put Daryl in there because so many people like him. The writers are probably afraid they will lose viewers if they kill him off.
Out of all the characters that have been killed off I think Herschel was the worst one for me. He was a great character and the way he died was just brutal.
Im guessing that the black dude {from the first episode} who has been kinda following them will have a lot to do with where they end up and will def be in the last episode.

I watched the show last night. Little slow, but clearly building to something.
Things I wonder about:
The meaning of the “circle X” that the lone wolf black guy is following. I assume they have something to do with clearing areas, but could be some kind of tramp sign.
The car wreck that they parked next to, one episode ago. What fell out were armless and legless walkers. I assume they were being harvested for some reason – e.g., for use as security or perhaps they would dissuade other walkers.
Friend Andy, of course.
My alarm went off big time when Andy showed up. A guy too squeaky clean in the midst of everything going on, I’m not buying it. He would be on a very tight leash.
Also, why isn’t there more fucking going on ? If they have to repopulate the planet, better get started, starting with Maggie and the Latina with the pig tails.
Maybe they are too exhausted to have sex?
That, and:
They smell nasty. As in, they don’t have enough water to drink, let alone bathe.
On that topic, can they not find a sail boat? Easy cruise up from Atlanta. Easy to find fish. Only problem would be water, and it’s not like there are not 1000 rivers hitting the Atlantic. Pirates would be an issue, I am sure.
Women’s sex drive is nil when in that kind of situation, simply because a baby is such a liability.
I’m not too familiar with the east coast, but aren’t there some islands right off of the coast that are accessible by a boat. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to try and find a secluded island and kill off whatever walkers are left and try to make that there home? I mean the water would be their natural defense. They could probably crow their own food and there might be local wildlife that is edible.
This…
An island would be the most obvious answer. Why the fuck would you keep moving around? Especially with limited, basic supplies like water. Find an island, an army base, a walmart, whatever…

Then there wouldn’t be much of a show. I also don’t know why they keep chasing these pipe dreams that get them nowhere.
Good episode the other night. The dynamics between Rick’s group and other survivors is my favorite aspect of the show. There’s always a catch to these sanctuary deals though, but I have no idea what it’s going to be. I figure it’s got to be something above and beyond Terminus, but I don’t know how much more depraved you can get after cannibalism.
Danai Gurira looked like a damn skeleton on Talking Dead. I’ve never seen a woman with such broad shoulders at such a low bodyweight. It’s odd that it’s barely noticeable when she’s in her Michonne gear. She does have a pretty awesome ass for such a skinny girl though.

Yeah, since it seems benign (hearing kids playing, etc.), I am guessing some outside party is going F it up for them.
I take it the next episode will be about the group trying to adjust to somewhat normal living again where they don’t always have to watch their back. It will be the first time since the prison the group has been together in a place they can call home.
I have a good feeling how the rest of the season will play out.

Perhaps related to the chopped up bodies found outside the fucked up/wrecked community Noah had them find?

Go on then. Give us your $0.02 on how the show ends?

How will I know how the show ends. It probably has another good two or three seasons left.
I liked this episode. A new home brings some new conflict. I like how Glenn put that guy in his place after what happened when they went outside the walls.
You can also see how Rick and that chicks husband might have some type of altercation.
I was thinking Ricks beard was fake because of it’s length but I was surprised to see and hear that it was real. Brings me back to the pilot episode by the way he looks.
I can’t see any way that there’s another season. They will have to rename the show if there is. They can keep doing the same thing over and over again surely??
Also, and i just thought about this yesterday, what kind of life span do you have as a walker? They have really started to look worst than usual these last few episodes. Won’t those fuckers ever just die off?
bdocksaints75 wrote:
Is anyone still following this show?
Yes. And FWIW, I liked the last episode. Showed how soft the town is. The fact that the idiots “collect guns” inside is just so fucking stupid.
The red-headed SGT reminds me of my favorite tool-pusher. Not an overly-complex guy, but a heck of a task-based leader and general bad-ass. My guy is even a ginger.
Exploding zombies! Betrayal by the priest, no less (POS that he is).
Am I the only one who stopped watching mid-season? I started watching The Killing, but so far it seems to be barely on par with the likes of Walking Dead.
Must keep it real, most shows on TV now are getting boring. Any recommendations?

Yes. Loving this season so far. Last episode was one of the best yet.
Ive lost a little interest in the last few episodes but I’m still watching. I was pumped to read Steel’s opinion on it
Don’t get too pumped; I don’t think my opinion is shared by many on here.
My favorite part of the show is seeing how Rick’s group interacts with other groups of humans. The zombies should be (and are slowly becoming) just background noise at this point.

I liked it also. They are quickly overrunning the town with their strong personalities.
