Also, anyone else remember a few episodes ago that started with a flashback to when Shane showed up at the school and told Lori that Rick had just been shot?

Just before he got there, she was talking to another lady and flat-out said, “I don’t know if I even love Rick anymore.” I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes out that the two had something going on, or at least starting, back then.
I think there was something going on pre-zombies. Lori almost gave it away when Rick confronted Lori about the pregnancy. After he told her he suspected that she and Shane hooked up, there was a long pause until Rick said, “you thought I was dead.”. She looked releived.
Yeah. It seems to go back further than a quicky in the woods. It’s likely that Lori was drawn to Shane because Rick was too dedicated to his job , but it’s that dedication that makes him such an effective leader, so Lori ends up getting drawn back to him.
It could be part of it, but I think it is just more primal. Rick is nice looking, but Shane is ridiculously hot and just oozes sex.
I’m not in a position to comment on that -lol. But that’s kind of what I was saying above - being a dedicated leader and diplomat is a passion killer in normal life and the sexpot bad boy is just the ticket to spice up an ailing marriage, but when the zombies come out to play, hotness only gets you so far.

Also what’s with that matrix moment when the blond learns to shoot like a pro???
Ha. That was my thought too.

I guess she is just a quick learner.

Hot Learns faster than normal
Must be all the injectables

And Shane is hot so he IS the man.

Hmmm interesting pattern I’m detecting here.
Andrea For the win.

It isn’t really a poiler saying shane will die.

Its the end of the world and zombies are cruising the streets nommong on people.

I’m not really expecting anyone to live THAT long. I

I’m also wondering how long will they keep living by the NOW "old world " rules. Theft, Killing, property he’ll even marriage or anything else that you could Take someone to court for if they broke a civilized rule. It’s all gone so how long before the group makes up new rules to survive?

Should they try to Keep all the old rules and laws as long as they can? What will they do if one of them goes rouge (Shane) and makes up his own law.

Or

Run into another group who has already made up new rules to survive.

This is what I cant wait to see. Zombies are a small part of this Story the real stuff is what is NOW the new Right &Wrong. And who will uphold it if I Decide to Break your new Law?

Wild West Rules Y’all

Sorry it’s 10am and I’ve already been handed hot chocolate with rum in it ahhhh family, killing your liver one Holiday at a time.

I don’t know the comics, but I doubt that they will kill off shane any time soon.

But you guys can take your marbles and go home.
Not sure saying “Shane dies/is killed in the comics” is a show spoiler.

Also I can’t see them killing off the guy with 2nd billing on the show anytime soon. I’m pretty sure Michael Rooker only took the part as Merle knowing it would be almost like a cameo type role.

On anything from the books.
I’m sure he’ll die in a similar manner, just with an adjusted timeline.
Hahahah, Oh man Wol is going to Hate you guys for that…hahaha
Been busy, would have replied sooner.

I’ve already read about Shane’s death in the comics. We all know that the comics vary from the TV show. Shane might outlive a few of the main cast members.

Rick for Pres. He may not be “hot” per say, but he’s a damn good leader. He’s like Optimus Prime with wife issues.

Does that make Shane Megatron? I’m just waiting for Rick to make his turn to the darkside, TV is all about that when it comes to character development.

Skinny, unfaithful, rationalizing, and dishonest may be something else.

I only want to fuck her so none of her personality matters to me.

A valid strategy, IF you have an escape plan.

YOU may not be aware that she tries to keep psychotic ex/current/fall back option around, but your awareness doesn’t matter to Shane; and he does not feel the need to discuss this with you face to face. He likes to discuss it over the bead sight on his 12 guage.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Unless I was a vital part of the group I would roll out after I got Lori a few times.

A lot like Shane wanted to do…

i would be a good addition to a zombie party

I didn’t think so either, but some of the guys around here can be surprisingly sensitive.

There better be bloodshed

This is the last episode before the hiatus, correct? I’m with Rock on this…if a zombie horde doesn’t get to gnaw on a cast member or a certain cast member doesn’t murder their wife, I may no longer follow the show. I’ve just started watching Justified, and Raylan Givens makes Rick Grimes look like the Flaming Queen Parade Leader of the Pride Parade.

Haters gonna Hate.

Go Rick Go!
