Ahh so it is disbelief that someone could be so cruel
Dale is NOT useless. Yes, he’s old, but he’s the best mechanic, he can shoot, he trains others, and he gives sage advice to other people. I want to see how amazing of a killer you are at 60 plus years of age.
His weakness for Andrea stems from his loss of his own family. He sees her as a daughter, not a lover.

Shane is a psycho and has been since S1 when Rick came back (probably was one before but he had society to keep him in check). Dale is all about the group, he’s seen Shane for what he really is and that’s what scares him.

I’m actually 800 years old.

So now that’s all cleared up.
Thanks roybot. Are you Dale by any chance?
And really, if that last clip doesn’t prove that Shane left Rick for dead, I don’t know what will…

No. I’m Rogue Vampire. You’re 800 years old so you must be Dale.

I’m actually hurt you’ve never followed and harrassed me on these boards. Am I not worth it to you?

Well, he seemed genuine in the hospital scene. I think his turn to the dark side really began when Rick returned unexpectedly. Before that he was just some guy who loved his friend… and his wife (because of PUSSY SHORTAGE down south amirite?).

He is good at those things. My problem with him is he gets in everybodys business. He should let people come to him if they want advice.
Shane is the man though. He does what he has to do to survive. Him shooting Otis was the best thing that has happened in this second season.

Dale does more good than bad. I will always support his old ass.
Wow, cold hearted. Best thing to happen is Glen getting some! When’s the last time you’ve seen an Asian guy have sex. Good for you!

Hahahah OK I understand enjoying watching Shane for the sheer entertainment of craziness. But He’s the Man? And why does everyone say he does what’s best for the group? Do you guys remember what he told the wife " My only Concern is YOU and the BOY!" and that was wayyyy after Rick was home.
He killed Otis to survive. I like watching Shane do dumb shit too…But IF I’m in that Group and know all this he is the last MOFO I’m going on patrol with an maybe the 1st I might have to kill if it’s just us against zombies.

Fuck that, if I knew all that shit about Shane I’d put him down before there was a swarm of zombies around. I wouldn’t even want to kick him out of the group for fear of what his crazy ass would do to us.
The dude is entertaining in the same way Jerry Springer was entertaining, however hanging out with crazy people like that will only bring problems later.

If you mean my posts on RV’s self-love thread, I don’t make a habit of harrassing real people. I’m sure there’s a real person behind RV but it isn’t the guy in the pics. I’ve stated my reasons why and RV’s responses just get more ridiculous. I wouldn’t say I “followed” him either. I posted a lot (admittedly too much) on a thread he started for attention, so I donated some: not really “harrassment” in my book. My interaction with him beyond that is minimal.

So it seemed. But I think he’s always had designs on Lori, and the dark side has always been there, even before the plague. Maybe he would have saved Rick if he had the opportunity, but he didn’t lose any sleep over it either. After Rick’s “death”, he jumped into bed with Lori, and played happy families.
Rick’s return ruined that - look how Shane tries to force himself on Lori in the bunker.
That isn’t the behaviour of a loving friend. He feels inferior to Rick and wants what he has (and for a while, he had it). That’s fuelling the crazy.

^ Is that an attempt at giving a 1,000 yard stare to a 1,000 yard stare? Shock at seeing Shane’s now-verified true colors? Incredulity? (I kinda just wanted to use the word “incredulity”. Meh.)
Also, anyone else remember a few episodes ago that started with a flashback to when Shane showed up at the school and told Lori that Rick had just been shot?
Just before he got there, she was talking to another lady and flat-out said, “I don’t know if I even love Rick anymore.” I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes out that the two had something going on, or at least starting, back then.

I thoroughly enjoy watching Shane. And yes the old man getting in everyones business is annoying but he’s alright.
Whether Shane let Otis die so that he could survive or to save the boy, it had to be done. I dont despise him for that. If he hadnt done it, both he, Otis and likely the boy would have died. But since he did what he had to do, only one person died instead of 3. And, accident or not, the person that died was the person who caused all of this.
Hot farm girl is hot.
Also what’s with that matrix moment when the blond learns to shoot like a pro???

I think there was something going on pre-zombies. Lori almost gave it away when Rick confronted Lori about the pregnancy. After he told her he suspected that she and Shane hooked up, there was a long pause until Rick said, “you thought I was dead.”. She looked releived.

Yep. These guys are too hard on Shane. He made a difficult choice.
