I take it that Daryl is 1st?[/quote]
The Bionic Redneck…YES,…until my girl shows up. Maybe this season…or maybe next.

SPOILER!!!
I’m guessing she’ll be next season. We’re about halfway through this season already and they’re still at the farm. She won’t be there until they’ve moved to the new place. Of course they could be about to leave so maybe the end of this season would be cool too.
/SPOILER
I’m wondering if the little girl isn’t one of the zombies in the barn? There were a couple kid zombies in there.

Man that is some good eyesight. I don’t remember seeing kid zombies. I thought it would be packed I only seen maybe 12 or more. I was expecting like 30-40.
I hope your right on the above though.

It would be odd, Did anyone else notice the clip from next episode. It seemed they Shane & Andrea are in town for some reason. This is starting to pic up some.
I wouldbt mind being eaten by a zombie if they didn’t make that damn noise.
Anyway…why aren’t the zombies eating each other in the barn?
I knew it! I knew they were holding walkers there. guarantee that they’re family, friends and workers from the farm that they hope to bring back… thats why the old man gave that speech about a cure always being found when they all first got to the ranch.

I was specifically looking for kids in that scene. It looked like there were two on the left side of the screen in the final barn shot.
Would be pretty crazy if she was in there.
I paused it at that scene. I didn’t see any kids.
I wonder if the cabin people took the little girl to test some sort of “cure”.
Or maybe to provide a fresh, tasty meat treat for the barn zombies?

do you mean that abandoned house Daryl found?
I meant the farm folks, not cabin people.

ok
then to discuss your theory: then why haven’t they just led Rick’s group into the barn like cattle to slaughter (before this last episode of course). They’re none the wiser as to what the barn houses.
The farm folk (aka Herschel’s clan) have other motivations for keeping those walkers in the barn. I don’t think it’s anything as sinister as feeding them with stray little girls. I’m thinking they’re keeping them around in the event a cure is found (Herschel implied he thought a cure would be found in one of the previous episodes).
Word.

Zombies only eat living flesh if it’s already dead they don’t eat it.
The Bigger questions are:
1- Will the kid Tap that ass one more time before he tells his group about the Barn Zombies?
Or
2- If the secret gets out will they leave the last secure spot they know of or go to War to stay on the farm?
Just to put My vote out. If I found a safe place in “Zombie World”, Your home or not. You better have a Bigger group and more guns than us before I even THINK of leaving.
I would get Militant on those Nice Country People.

Why keep the zombies around waiting for a cure without feeding them? I think there is definitely something sinister going on with Hershel. Hershel would sacrifice Rick’s group if he thought it meant saving his zombie family. He is just waiting for the right time. Last episode he made a big deal about no guns at the farm. He wants to have the group unarmed for a reason, and I don’t think that it is about gun safety.

… and they always chew with their mouths open. Being dead is no excuse for poor table manners.

I’ve yet to see a single zombie actually finish a meal either. They could have a fresh kill and only take a few bites from it before chasing a living person. What gives?

I don’t know, if I recall correctly they made short order of that horse in the first episode of season one

I didn’t say they didn’t have a sinister motivation, I just don’t think they’re feeding living humans to the barn zombies. If that was the case, why tell Rick and his group that they best be moving on when they can just round them up in the middle of the night and herd them into the barn?
I def. think there’s some twisted shit going on, though. As far as the guns go, I think that has a lot to do with his barn zombies and not wanting Rick’s group to lay waste to them should they stumble across them (as Glenn has). Herschel’s clan obvi. haven’t been killing them. That was evident when T-Dog smashed the well zombies head in and Maggie had to turn away. I’m sure there is more than one reason they want them disarmed. The other reason might be to get the drop on them down the road?
This is turning into an awesome season regardless
