Tertiary side note – I feel a bit sad that T-Dog doesn’t even have his own Wikipedia entry
He’s been with the group from the start and nobody can even find anything to write about him.
Well… on the other hand, he takes the “token black guy” thing to the hilt. He literally does little else than being black.
On the other hand, most others that could be a dangerous competitor are killed off so soon, they hardly get the chance to not shine.
Then again, Ving Rhames.
I have enjoyed almost every Zombie movie ever made…almost.
The original Dawn of the Dead with the Actor that later played Candy man as the Hero was as close as I ever came to giving a damn about them as regular people. It was always like a sports game to me US VS ZOMBIES. Not sure why.
As for T-Dog…well they have not given him enough to say in 2 seasons to even get paid. I mean is he an actor or is he just a lighting guy that keeps getting in frame when they film?
Also Am I the only one that noticed Hershels son working on the house last episode. I had almost forgot he was on the show.
True, I was seriously trying to figure out who that guy was.

I know I keep expecting that guy to get accidentally head-shot because he just shambles around without talking. If he ever makes a loud yawn or anything, he’s toast.
Back on the T-Dog matter…but he isn’t token black guy TOO much, in that he hasn’t died in a humorous or humiliating fashion…yet…
Though if he ever says anything like, “I can’t believe I’ve survived this long, it feels great to be alive,” you might as well set your stopwatches to his two minute survival countdown.
Well being token black guy and being killed immediately is kind of a contradiction in terms.
Noone could develop this aura of insignificance without surviving for some time.
