Well, stabbing Shane in the head before he turned wouldve just resulted in a zombie Shane with a hole in his head.
right?

From what I’ve seen, any kind of severe head trauma (knife, gunshot) will stop someone from turning. Gunshot definitely, or else there would be a zombie Dale walking around.
ahh, I assumed Dale got a mery killing and then the group waited for him to gurn before they finihed him. But, youre right, a zombie can do anything without a head.
I swear I remember seeing zombies with wounds in their heads though which lead me to believe head wounds wont stop a body from waking up.

It is feasible for a zombie to experience head trauma and still be animated as long as the brain is still functioning the way a zombie’s brain does. What puts a zombie down permanently is severe brain trauma.
A severed zombie head that hasn’t experienced the necessary trauma to the brain is still animated (season 1 … the deer zombie was still chomping around after it had been decapitated).
And yes, the virus reanimates a deceased body by reactivating parts of the brain, regardless of how they died. Zombie bites cause a deadly infection that kills if not isolated (i.e. if you get bit on the hand or arm, if your arm is then removed before the zombie bite infection spread, you won’t die from the bite…etc.) but it’s not the bite that causes reanimation.
I’ve been wondering what Dr. Jenner from the CDC whispered to Rick since season 1. I initially thought he told him that Lori was pregnant, but I think it’s a pretty safe bet that he said everyone is infected and essentially fucked.
With this being said, why didn’t Rick stab Shane in the head after he killed him? Did he want to test Jenner’s claim and see if Shane would turn walker? If so, he had his back turned to him the entire time, shouldn’t he have expected that he’d be up and about in a few minutes? Or was he testing to see if Carl would blow him away?
Or did Jenner say something completely unrelated?
Regardless, fantastic episode, can’t wait for the finale!
/END SPOILER
He was to busy Crying. Serious he lost it after killing Shane. Used a knife to keep the noise down. Then before he could stop crying. Carl showed up.

So what the fuck Rick and Shane are just going to give Darryl’s gun away without asking him.
I thought that the whole episode. WTF? Two cops are re-appropriating a gun of all things. I get that “rule of law” left, but the notion of individual property is even more valid. As is the don’t piss off the Bionic Redneck rule. At the very least they should have read Carl the riot act for stealing someone’s weapon based on the fact Daryl may have counted on it being there.
Would it have been that impossible to give Carl a different gun? He was shown shooting a revolver in the B.S. training scene. Instead they are going for re-distributing Daryl’s Browing High Power and T-Dog gave Daryl a .38 with a single “Barney Fife” bullet. What the hell?

roybot needs to post the Greedo vs Han shooting gif again. That ending was fucked up, for no good reason.
Thoughts:
Office space/zombie beat down.
Night of the Living Dead ref. from Hershel.
Lori’s “speech” was perfect to send someone already spun out over the edge. Great job.
If they were going to make Carl have ninja powers to sneak out and find Shane/Rick they could have stuck to the book.
How the hell did Rick/Shane walk for hours but wind up in the damn yard?
The Rick vs Shane stand off was retarded. Shane, police officer, wants to let Rick put a hand on his gun? I am all for suspension of disbelief, but this was needlessly dumb.
I mentioned the gun theft earlier.
It is funny Glenn didn’t want to move into Maggie’s room.
Next Week:
I wonder if they remember Shane was stealing/hoarding ammo from the group?

See, Lori gives Rick the pussy and he’s just calm all the time. She doesnt blow him.

Lori gave Shane the pussy and blew him thats what caused him to fly off the handle.
You have a potentially fatat flaw in your thinking here Sir Rockula.
Even if you don’t go crazy, any of the other dudes she is/has been with might.
It isn’t a matter of “Keep it together and don’t put the pussy on a pedestal.” it is a matter of having a bunch of other crazy dudes gunning for you because she invites/causes drama. You are sportfucking while someone else is planning your death.
Never, EVER share a bed with someone crazier than you.
