I confess, I play rarely anymore due to life and it’s fullness, and when I do play, I tend to play warzone with my friends that I’ve played with for 10+ years at this point online, but I miss having the time to get lost in games like God of War, Red Dead, Sky Rim, and Fallout for hours at a time.

@dagill2 @T3hPwnisher I downloaded Baldur’s Gate 3, rolling a Monk of course. I’m only about 2 hours in but I can already tell this game is everything I’d hope for from a follow-up 20 years in the making.

Does anyone in here mess with Tarkov??
I’ve had Baldur’s Gate 3 in my steam shopping cart like 5 times… It sounds good, but I’m not big into turned based combat anymore (not since the old Genesis days). I might just have to do it.
Just picked up Atlas Fallen and have been playing Remnant 2 with a friend. Both are pretty fun so far.

I recently purchased Unleaded on sale for my Xbox, but I missed it when it first released. I’m really enjoying it so far and it looks beautiful on Series X! The open world feels like a much better realized version of what ‘06 was trying to do, especially with NPC interaction. I actually like the Werehog levels as well, focusing on platforming and racking up combos in combat! I didn’t add it to the list because I haven’t completed it, so I didn’t think I would be able to give a proper assessment of where it would fit in the ranking.
Also, I didn’t even think to account for the compilation games! I got Mega Collection with my GameCube in 2003! Probably the best compilation game I’ve played in my life. The soothing menu music, the video packages, the concept art and comic covers. I don’t think there’s ever been a better tribute to the legacy of Sonic. We really need a new one complete with the Dreamcast titles and Heroes at the very least! At the moment, Generations is the closest we have to that lol
The Adventure games easily have my favorite music in the series, I love the character themes and how iconic they are! Especially the Knuckles raps! They all feel like they really capture the spirit of the characters. Sonic Boom from Sonic CD was probably the first Sonic song I really fell in love with!! That song made me FEEL! I wish that one was in Frontiers. I love just running around collecting things with the Jukebox playing classic Sonic tracks.

My older brother and I fully completed Sonic 3 and Knuckles on Mega Collection. We got all of the super emeralds and chaos emeralds for every character. To this day, there really isn’t a better Sonic compilation game than Mega Collection. In fact, it’s actually kind of ridiculous how we don’t have another yet, but with TONS of effort put into it. We do have Sonic Origins, but it’s not enough in my opinion. I am looking forward to that new game coming out soon, Sonic Superstars.
I love it all honestly, but I’ve been obsessed with the music from Frontiers nowadays. “Undefeatable”, “Find Your Flame”, and “I’m Here” never get old, those songs are perfect for the gym too.

That game really is something else. I never played the original, but I completed the 3ds remake of the game. How’d you like it compared to Majora’s Mask?
Ya, man, when it came out I was about 12 and there was nothing like it. It was one of those games that just completely changed my expectations and set the bar for me in terms of what’s possible in gaming. Very few games are like that.
I really enjoyed Majora’s Mask. The time manipulation and the gameplay with the masks was pretty cool and it plays almost identical mechanically as Ocarina of Time. You just don’t play as an adult Link and you spend all of your time in one town (so there’s really no exploration).
I would definitely put it up there as one of my favorite Zelda games. Probably my fourth favorite behind Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and the original.

They’re beautiful games I just never liked the mechanics.
I am really hyped for Sonic Superstars! Those graphics are beautiful and it’ll be really fun to do the multiplayer with my wife and/or brothers! And I do like a lot of the original music from Frontiers. I was definitely digging the songs during the bossfights! I think my all time favorite Sonic song is “Open Your Heart” from Sonic Adventure with the runner up being “Live and Learn” and then the White Jungle theme.
@usmccds423 the list is definitely different but I do really enjoy all of the games on your list! Some things are just objectively good and fun! A lot of my list is based on nostalgia and games that I’ve been obsessed with since I was a kid, games that I’ve replayed a million times and never grown tired of.
