@mr.v3lv3t and @littlesleeper Thank you both! Youāve both been awesome to have in my corner, and seeing you lead the charge from where you are is inspiring.
Thinking of trying this out soon as Iām always fine eating just 1-2 reasonable HSMs a day and shakes for the rest, it has been tough lately getting back into a fat loss mindset and following something I can stick to. 1-2 lbs./week is all Iām after, nothing drastic, but I also donāt want lifting performance to go down the toilet.
I think the only change I might incorporate is to continue with my standard intra-workout shake that has 40g protein and 40g carbs as I really appreciate the benefits (and ability to never fail to get 250g+ protein in on training days) and night time Metabolic Drive-centered PWO meal with a cup of white rice (as Iāll probably keep total daily carbs between 150-180g) and see what happens in a monthās time. Great to know the plan can still yield some nice results even when modifying it a bit to suit other personal situations that might have someone wanting to enjoy more meals with family and not always be āthat guyā drinking shakes while everyone else is able to sit around the dinner table as normal.
I wonder if having protein all day allows you cut calories without going into starvation mode?
I am not sure what starvation mode is, but I was absolutely thriving
If you want to go down this avenue, I cannot recommend Surge Workout Fuel enough
Tim sent this to me, and I legit stopped using it because it works TOO good. I used it before training, and was accomplishing some ridiculous workouts on it as a result, and, in turn, I drove myself WAY too hard because Iām pretty stupid and will just keep pushing into the redline, haha. It makes a stellar intra workout fuel.
Just seen this man.
Congrats on the article brother
Iām fairly certain I told you that this would be your year ![]()
Hell yeah dude! Very much appreciated. Iām excited about this upcoming weekend as well.
Me too mate.
Canāt wait to pick your brain
Was thinking about getting some Surge to use as well. I love Plazma but just canāt justify the cost now, the wife would prefer I keep my total supplementation under $10/day, that doesnāt work well for budget trying to be āretiredā in our late 40s. Maybe when we start selling off some of the properties weāre rehabbing with a terrible family member who is running over a year behind on work, I can convince her to let me up the daily spend on supps. ![]()
With how absolutely bonkers Surge is, I canāt imagine ever āneedingā Plazma, but suffice to say, youāll be just dandy with Surge.
@T3hPwnisher are you still doing this modified version of the V-Diet?
Pretty much! Metabolic Drive shakes make up the foundation of my daily diet on weekdays, and I am really perfecting the Metablic Drive oatmeal in the morning. Iāve found a combination of egg whites and bone broth as a base really goes a long way. And Iāve taken to mixing the powder with chipped ice to create a protein shaved ice during these hot summer months.
Iāve gotten CRAZY lean through this process. You can see it in this training thumbnail
Nice dude! You look sick shredded bruh! Iāve been thinking about adopting it as a lifestyle too. For the egg whites do you buy egg whites, how many do you do with how much protein?
I buy cartons of egg whites. I dont measure or count anything, just eyeball. I cook them in the microwave with a mason jar. Super simple.
Cool, about 30 seconds in the microwave? Sorry, never tried this.
Depends on how much you put in. You will be able to see the cook in the microwave.
