The Ugly Clomid

hey guys i know you probably get these post alot i started clomid on 5/19/23 6 weeks for that date. i done blood work my T went from 270 to 555.i feel good on it strong libido sometimes 2 times aday. so before clomid i had a lil bit of high blood pressure. some kidney stones.so after taking the clomid my BP is 150/101 i have developed a mass on my testicles and now my primary is telling me i have high function kidneys. could this be from the clomid. being a estrogen blocker. my urologist refuse to put me on trt. saying that its a different type of life style and it makes you not fertile. well I’ve had a vasectomy. i dont care about being fertile so should i talk with my primary. doctor about going on trt… since clomid has so much junk and side effects in it… or should i let my urologist make all the calls… thanks…

TRT is a different lifestyle (?), never heard that one before. This response basically means he has a bias against TRT/steroids. He brought up infertility, even though you’ve been snipped, and not interested in children, so it’s not that, something else is driving he denial of TRT.

A lot of urologist still believe TRT causes prostate cancer, none of which is true. If you were diagnosed with primary or secondary hypogonadism, it shouldn’t be this hard to get TRT.

There’s no point in continuing with a doctor that is not up-to-date on current medical literature.

As for acceptable protocols for TRT, no less than one injection per week, 75-100 mg or more until your levels are optimized to where no low-T symptoms are present.

A lot of doctors still dish out those outdated protocols every 2 weeks, or once per month.

Avoid these protocols at all costs, and any doctor prescribing such protocols!
