Starting TRT After Clomid Trial

so here in a week or so ill start trt was on clomid…what are some of things i can look forward pros and cons is trt better then clomid my test lvls were 272 before starting clomid… i know test aint a miracle drug with healthy eating and working out can i bulk good muscles or do you need like a ungodly amount of T to bulk…

What labs were taken? Expand on the results. TT is not a good indicator of much on its own.

TRT is not a lifestyle. It’s medicine for hypogonadism. If you need it and were previously working out hard, sure you will get better results. How much is dependent on the individual and their genetics plus how low they were prior to starting.

i guess the normal test i dont have the paper anymore i was on clomid for about 6 months from urologist now my gp wants move to the trt

yeah i understand that i was just looking at how it will affect me but overall quality of life is the main goal

Nobody can answer that. Some guys feel worse on it ironically. Most feel better, but response basis is individual. Also, your protocol has to be good and dialing in can take some time.

You offer literally no information at all about your protocol. A doctor that’s willing to adjust one’s protocol to dial in on TRT is the difference between treatment success and treatment failure.

So if you start out with a doctor unfamiliar with how to properly manage your treatment, I’m afraid TRT may be mostly cons.

Eat food, lift heavy weights, grow in size.

We don’t know anything about your training history, current stats, etc. but I’d say in general if you are hypogonadal going into TRT, you should be able to put on some muscle. Sort of a hormonal catch-up phase.

im sure their is a plan i was told he would go over it more when i come in to office they want to give the first injection and make sure i can do it they said he only gives up to 100 mg a week i can break it down too two shots a week or even 3 just to keep from getting low t signs…

That’s the sign of a hesitant, inexperienced, doctor. The focus should be on symptom resolution and levels achieved, and also healthy biomarkers, lipids, CBC, HCT, HGB, whether that’s at 100 or 150 mg per week.

Many doctors don’t know the first thing on how to optimize a patients health, let alone be able to give out accurate nutritional advice.

Do not expect this doctor to be able to successful guide your treatment. If you have side effect in treatment, I afraid your doctor may struggle, as many do.

Think of your doctor as a prescription pad, a means to getting the script, nothing more.

so basicly get the script try what they say if it dosent work change my dosage to were im showing no symptoms? i know every one is different what dose your routine look like if you inject…

why are their so many doctors that lack the education and information in this field…

There’s so much resistance in the curriculum, of teaching physicians, the curriculum is already established, and it’s very difficult to change that. That’s the financial model of medicine, and medicine is a business, never forget that.

So a doctor shouldn’t refer to a patient as a patient, you have to consider them as a customer. The system in which the doctors are trained in, and to control them, and their medical licensing, control how they diagnose and treat patients is all a financial model.

Many of the best TRT doctors, are private, cash only. There’s a big market for health optimization, something our healthcare providers seem unwilling to do. It probably has to do with a healthier patient isn’t a customer at all.

i took my first injection monday its 200mg .25 every two weeks is that a standard practice?

Unbelievable! The worst protocol yet seen in 7 years of my existence on these forums.

What’s worse is your doctor didn’t even follow the guidelines, which is, 200 mg every two weeks or 75-100 mg weekly, instead, you got 50 mg every two weeks!! That’s 25 mg per week!

Your doctor basically gave you enough to shut you down and not enough to function on a basic human level.

Contact your provider and find another doctor without delay!

The study below is based on 200 mg every two weeks, still a bad protocol and instead you got 50 every two weeks! You testosterone will crash very quickly, and you’ll stay crashed indefinitely on this protocol.

Proof —> > The slightly longer but still relatively short-acting agents testosterone enanthate and testosterone cypionate require injections every 1–2 weeks due to half-lives of 5–7 days, respectively. All of the short-acting agents are plagued by a “roller coaster” effect by achieving supraphysiologic levels within 2–4 days after injection followed by sub-therapeutic levels by 10–14 days.

A rapid decline in serum levels around 10–14 days has been called “testosterone crash” and is associated with sudden recurrence of TD symptoms. To minimize these effects, more frequent dosing from once to twice weekly has been suggested as is preferred by these authors.

Allow me to re-word my previous statement, I’m afraid TRT will be all cons, as in NO benefits and your symptoms will only get much worse than they are now.

bro man dont tell me that cause idk if i got the funds to see a private doctor for low t much less how to locate one… should i go back to my urologist since the ,male organ and hermones are his special… or should i try to dail it in my self and follow a protocol that has some hard facts behind it or should i do like .25 a week i have a 90 day supply each vial is post to be 4 injections when i was on clomid i was on 25mg per day i know thats different from trt… idk what to do i found this clinic in my area … TRT Twice a Week vs Once: Should I Split the Testosterone Dose (vitalityhrt.com)

In my area, at least, Renew Vitality has amazing reviews! You might compare pricing to that of Defy Medical, a telemedicine clinic.

180 per blood test 450 a year 20 week program for 1,200$

That’s about what Defy Medical charges.
