I found it a little disconcerting, when they show the Hobitts (sp?) using this big cooking kettle pot to cook the 2 rabbits. Where did that cooking pot come from? I know they weren’t carrying it with them.
Saw the movie last night for the third time (do I think it is good?..nah). The whole routine with Faramir capturing the Hobbits and dragging them to Osgiliath is wrong…way too many issues with the Nazgul…unless he can defend it in the next movie…I left for the 1 minute and 42 seconds it took Sam to make his speech…The Ents appear out of nowhere when Treebeard gets pissed when he sees what Saruman did to the forest around Isengard…where the hell they all come from and why weren’t they at the Entmoot?..but I still love the movie…tried to find a bootleg copy on the net after I saw it for the second time…

i was disappointed with the attempts at humor with gimili. the love scenes could have been left out. but it was still awesome
I read the books awhile ago and I still thought the movie kicked ass. I don’t know why people expect a movie to follow the book exactly. It just can’t be done. Don’t expect it and you won’t be disapointed. However I did think a few scenes could have been cut down abit. Gollum was the best character. I love the scene where he’s talking to himself. Hey didn’t anyone notice that in the Gollum/Samwise fight scene that Gollum looked to be trained by Royce Gracie? Heheheh. Overall a great flick. Now they just have to make a DragonLance movie!!!
