I just discovered this radio show last week and I’m addicted. Hes like a T-man turned self-help guru. Just today he talked to two ladies that were complaining that their boyfriends either weren’t around enough or didn’t want to have sex anymore. He asked them how tall they were and how much they weighed and obviously they were both overweight by their height/weight ratios and he flat-out said to them “if your boyfriend doesn’t get aroused seeing you naked the way you are, then why wouldn’t he want to go elsewhere to get laid?” God, I love it! If Dr Laura, Dr Phil and all those other piece of shit self-help losers were more like Tom Leykis the world would be a better place.
In my short amount of time listening to the show the best specific piece of advice I got from him is that when you’re dating a girl you hold out as long as possible to say “I love you” so as not to let them get lazy/comfortable, etc. And its something I never knew before but it makes complete and total sense. And even the women that called in to disagree with him ended up proving his point in the end.
So does anybody else have anything they learned from Tom that they can share?
I haven’t listen to him in 8 years. He was all over the place with his thoughts and views. That ‘Blow me up Tom’ shit was kind of dumb but he entertaining none the less.
Sorry, I wasn’t specific enough about his T-man aspects. You’re right he himself isn’t the exact model of a T-man. However, I guess the main thing that made me think of that is because he always talks about not giving in to the feminization of America and how men that get married always end up being the bitch in the relationship.
His show is entertaining so I listen when I catch it. There is truth in the views he expresses and in the dating strategies he peddles, but he takes them all to such an extreme to make him a complete asshole.
It’s no wonder he’s so bitter toward women. He had a “poof clause” in his last prenup. It was such that if they were still maried after 7 years, poof, it would go away. Well, the gal waited out the seven years then divorsed him! What patience and resolve she must have had to have.
His views on women are perpetually reinforced. He’s cynical - thinks women are only interested in men with money and power and he’s ugly. He does have good income so he only gets women who are only interested in men with money and power. It’s a vicious circle for him.
I feel sorry for the guy. I have known several women with incredible integrity and virtue and been lucky enough to marry one of them. He will never know the loving, committed, supportive type relationship that I have.
Yeah thats another thing I don’t like about him. He talks about how women are simply “semen receptacles” and aren’t anything more. Hes so absolute about it. Essentially, hes saying that women are simply there for sexual pleasure and nothing more as far as commitments go.
But the fact of the matter is this mindset should only be reserved for someone in their early 20s (even in that case, not to the extreme that he describes it). A guy in his early 20s should be “playing his options” so that when he does decide to “settle down with one cow” he doesn’t have as much of a desire to get the free milk thats out there because hes already gotten it.

He is probably one of the last people in the world I would take advice from in terms of the opposite sex.
Haha, I listen to Tom all the time. Great show, makes a lot of good points. He’s not exactly a role model, but he’s pretty entertaining and the way he totally shuts down any feminazi that calls is great.
He will die and old fat lonely ugly bastard. Right now he is a lonely(fat ugly bastard) man who can’t handle a true relationship with a woman with any self confidence.
Think about it you would have to have pretty low self esteem to let that nasty thing crawl on top of you!!!
I have to say, while I don’t agree with him about everything he does give good advice if you’re one of those guys who never wants to get married and wants to act like a teenager for the rest of your life.
I enjoy listening because he calls people out when they need to be called out, and it’s entertaining… I don’t this i’d ever take his advice and apply it to my life - But I was never the go clubbing to find some ass type of guy.
