“One cannot legislate the maniacs off the street … these maniacs can only be shut down by an armed citizenry. Indeed bad things can happen in nations where the citizenry is armed, but not as bad as those which seem to be threatening our disarmed citizenry in this country at this time.”

Learn from the professionals. Dave is one of the best:

If you’re a first responder and you’re not training loaded sprints and sandbag lifts/carries you’re short changing yourself.

Never been more glad of both today.

Yesterday afternoon had to sprint into the parklands and lift a guy who’d hung himself. I shouldered him and my partner managed to cut him down. Honestly I thought he was dead but we managed to get him breathing until Ambos came.

Saw him in ICU today, and he’s going to pull through.

Humans are not like barbells, and you should definitely train with odd implements.

Train hard and stay safe.

Yes, no doubt, one of the most important excises you can do. Moving or carrying a human body is one of the most difficult things you have to do, especially, if they are wounded and wearing tactical gear. Trying to drag a man or woman wearing a plate carrier and gear out of the kill zone will exhaust anyone. Don’t neglect dummy drags from a prone or crawling position, because, if under fire, you simply cannot stand up. Asking for a bullet.

Damn good job, brother.

Just some basics:

Here’s a new one courtesy of anti gun people.
I was getting a homeowners quote and when guns came up I started getting queried about storage at which point I shut it down.
None of their business and no right to record that info it’s in my home and private. I don’t care if I have a loaded gun on every flat surface or wall, my damn business - no kids here and the bulldog can’t reach crap.

This is what it has come to. When I was a boy I could buy a gun from a magazine king as I had valid payment. Now it’s as if they worry if I even look at a magazine because they |ahem| care about my well being so much they’re willing to give me a competency test to go to the John.
Hell with it. My home my business my right was earned over Teo hundred years ago by men who would scoff at such things much worse than I.
Fact is boys, our info, our answers and opinions are for sale, used to market goods to us. I’m thinking maybe I should charge per question nowadays cause if I took every survey I saw it would be a full time job.
Be aware what comes out of your mouth, what you submit electronically can all be monetized and is.
I’m about to the point of actually talking about anything serious that’s personal to my wife alone. A data miner could pull this post and use it to market a higher privacy comms system.
Sometimes in life too we must have radio silence.

Hey you know what, this is a very good and needed thing. I personally endured some of that and brother it wasn’t easy.
