Seeing as the statue of limitations would still allow for a case to be brought up against Kavanaugh, I think a large reason this is still just a job interview and not a legal case is specifically to deny Kavanaugh due process rights. Which, is admittedly a smart move, if for no other reason than an actual criminal trial would take such a long timeline

I’m literally embarrassed at the pothetic reach for power. Sickening and putred. I’ve been waiting for the moment the commucrats weapjnized the me foo movement I guess this was their moment. Clinton faced rape allegations with witnesses and they were silent. Seriously they’ve jumped the shark and look pathetic. Sad day in America.

Sounds like feinstein was hoping the FBI would find something and she wouldn’t have to subject Ford to this shit show. And when the FBI came up empty, she had no other option.

Exactly. She was hoping other allegations or another smoking gun would be found by the FBI. So they waited, and hoped his nomination would be put in trouble without ever having to be come forward and suffer this shitshow.
When that didn’t happen, she decided it would be neccesary to come forward. Does that make sense?
