It’s from a group of people that’s like 95% liberal. If the NRA puts together a petition that says something about gun legislation you can reasonably infer that it’s from pro-gun people.

Edited to say I think many, many conservative jurists oppose Kavanaugh because of his behavior and statements. (Apparently, I have more faith in the integrity and nonpartisanship of conservative law professors than do you.)

Ignore that. You’re supposed to use this so called job interview to make that determination. A job interview where certain politically affiliated folks have already sworn to defeat you, if not outright called you EVIL.. Oh, and that’s before the accusations became public. That’s not a job interview, it’s pure partisan bs way beyond the usual. Personal destruction.
By a group that played 11th hour shenanigans only to turn around and cry about not having enough time to investigate. Like it was anyone else’s fault but their own. Who whined about their FBI investigation just as soon as it began. Who started with a gang rapist and ended with crying about not being able to determine just how drunk Kavanaugh got in his college days. “Waaah, the FBI should be investigating how many kegs he personally helped finish.”
No wonder the generic ballots are tightening and the enthusiasm gap has all but disappeared. The public doesn’t keep the FBI around to investigate how many beers beyond “too many” someone had. And, besides the die-hards, nobody cares. They wanted to know if he was a was rapist. Remember that whole rape thing? Woohoo, back over here! Through all of this, including this latest supplemental background FBI investigation (the 7th) not one corroborating witness. Not one smudge of physical evidence. Not one.

I was on here when the birth certificate issue was going down. And I argued against those people too. The child sex crap is so far out I can’t remember ever really hearing anyone try to defend it. I’ve heard about it, but never actually had the displeasure of meeting someone who believes it. .
And I was speaking of USSC nominations and/or job interviews. Nobody watching that political circus really thinks it was a job interview.
