The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 2)

That’s a new one on me for obesity.

I like it.

“Big” is not the same as fat. It is the antonym of “small”, same as “fat” is the antonym of “thin”.

They still teach that in school, don’t they?

Problem here is fat people don’t like to be fat, so some of them would rather have people not say they’re fat (as if that is gonna make them thinner), so they need to pick other words to say that they’re fat.

This seems to be something that is pushed mostly by fat women (I could be wrong) but imagine if short guys now decide that it’s offensive for people to call them “short”.
Do we discard the word “short”?

Probably not because women don’t mind to be short and no one gives a shit about guy’s feelings lol.

The argument I always here is “it’s about respecting me as a person”

It would be disrespectful to pretend that being morbidly obese is healthy.

If you’re morbidly obese, you’re disrespecting yourself as a person.

Depends on the guy’s demographics.

Yeah it does. Like if the guy is a woman, then all of the sudden his feelings are really important.

The last female dentist I had a run in with was completely insane, so I’m going with that.

Wow. I have a psychology degree and wrote a few papers on Antisocial Personality Disorder. Not sure where that test question came from, but the group with a higher-than-normal rate of APD – based on studies – is actually transgender identifying persons, regardless of sex or race. (High rates of autism too.)

It was apparently a question asked at UT Austin, but I don’t know what course.

When I saw the question I thought how can it be female dentists, they don’t even exist, lol. Can’t say I’ve ever had meet one. Plenty of hygienists, though.

Probably sociology. Even back when I got my psych degree, the sociology department was wackadoodle. It was the very early days of “woke.”

Oh yeah. There’s at least one.

My son had some cavities in his baby teeth when he was like, 5. I’m looking everywhere for a pediatric dentist. Finally find one, schedule an appointment and take him in. This lady examines him, tells me she is in fact NOT a pediatric dentist and will not treat him. Then has a hygenist do a flouride treatment, and proceeded to lecture me on how neglectful and abusive I am as a father, and since she’s required to report cases of abuse- I have 24 hrs. to get back to her with proof that a pediatric dentist treated him or she would call CYF.
Then donkey punched my insurance for a check up and cleaning.

Total fucking whackjob.

Jesus…

I completely forgot about our kid’s pediatric dentist who is a woman (I guess, I’m assuming, which is dangerous these day…). She has been fine. She did ask me to sit down because apparently stand makes kids anxious I guess. Idk, seemed weird, but I’ll take that over your person.

I don’t respond well to threats.

She would have severely regretted that with me.

That’s super weird because being a dentist is perceived as a “female” profession in Europe.

I looked into it informally. My guy said it was wrong, but not that wrong.

Its funny though, because there are only a few pediatric dentists in the area and I shared that with a whole bunch of other parents that were also looking for someone to take their kids to. Told them about her, and the guy I ended up at who is like the most awesome pediatric dentist in the tri-state area.
