The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

Oh absolutely they will. But they will have no power, and be under no obligation to detain that suspect. They will just have to “call it in” and possibly tail the car if the suspect is not compliant. I wonder if legally there could be some mechanism that allows a driver to be charged with resisting/fleeing if they do not stop when asked?

We already have that, it’s called the police.

Dodgy pubs in Luxembourg? Around the Gare du Luxembourg? I’ve witnessed the Eurocrat expat scene in the City itself, it’s like Brussels only much smaller and in a much cleaner city (well, town if we’re being completely honest).

Don’t tell me you were of those annoying ECJ and EIB types that frequented El Barrio for a tapas and a drink? Very punchable, all of them.

Como? Beto v Cruz was 2018.

LOL, literally.

Mercifully not. I was one of the Irish expats hanging around Rue de Strasbourg drinking the ‘pints’ near the drug dealers and hookers. There’s also a decent Chinese restaurant on Strasbourg.

As in, I don’t think Ted has recovered in those 2 years. The maga TX base wasn’t fired up for the Zodiac killer with a jelly face. (I actually somewhat like Ted, but the man has an extraordinarily punchable face.)

You’re the target audience… -did Ted’s beard help any?

It covered that jellyfish chin, so yes.

I want you and @loppar to turn off that speed metal and calm down.
The weekend is still a day away.

I would like to see Cruz win and hold the seat, then move to USSC.

Alas, I’m working the Saturday. So my weekend is 1.5 days away. I’ll be off nearly immediately regardless.

This I would love to see, if only to see various heads erupt.

I 100% agree. But could only happen in Orange Land, which would make it a popcorn worthy time on TN…

It’s demoralizing to charge an employee/worker with a responsibility and not the authority to carry out the task.

This is a very bad thing to do to the people who are going to be expected to carry out these duties.

So, so true. I’d kill for the majority of policy makers to actually have first hand experience…

Or the intelligence to know what they don’t know.

because I can’t POSSIBLY see how that would lead to anything bad like wreckless driving, public endangerment and a slew of other unintended consequences…

from a legislator? Fat chance, they’ve voted in by the public, after all…

I hope you didn’t think you’d heard the stupidest thing you could have imagined.

Boy when I think of cutting edge, scientific discovery in the realm of Nod, I always think of Teen Vogue. Never has a more erudite publication existed…

btw, I hate the Daily Wire website … those fucking pop ups are brutal man but I had to try to read the article to see the height of intellectual illumination Black Power Naps could bring. I am Enlightened.

@Mufasa

Speaking of: School board voted 7-0 yesterday, to rename the 2 high schools.

Robert E Lee (built in late 50s) l can see. I went there, but don’t really care either way. The name Rebels and Confederate imagery had already been removed in early 70s.

But the other school is John Tyler (formerly Tyler HS). You are going to change the name, when it is based on a city named for a former President and founded 15 years before the Civil War?
Going to change the city and county also, since both namesakes had slaves?

Slavery is unquestionably, one of man’s greatest shame. But who even knows John Tyler?

Might be the least known president haha. Only reason to not change the name is if it presents a financial hardship, IMO. Otherwise, im 60/40 in favor of changing the name.

Man’s is right, but the narrative that is infecting this country is that it is WHITE man’s greatest shame, sin and crime.
