The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

Have you watched his 1985 video commenting on the Sandinistas and Castro? I can’t find it on youtube anymore.

He’s either full of shit or he’s one of those really dumb, privileged foreigners who spend a couple of days in a relatively developed part of the 3rd World and thinks they’re all living wonderful, happy lives because he doesn’t see people and children lying on the ground in the street looking at him with hollow eyes and hands outstretched pleading, “Help me, Savior!”.

He wouldn’t be the first western idiot to fall for a Potemkin village trick.

And since it is an estimate,. Multiply by 3-4X for actual numbers.

It’s a government project. That’s at least a tenfold underestimate.

Dude, gays can still reproduce. Your entire argument is flawed.

He ignores that gays can and do have kids.

I may not have been clear in what I was attempting to express. I believe the transgender movement was greatly emboldened by the legalization and gradual mainstream acceptance of same-sex marriage. Before, institutions like universities and the mental health community did not attempt to legitimize this kind of psychosis. To be clear, I’m not saying same-sex marriage caused this current “gender confusion” craziness but it allowed it to become as mainstream as it has. Scoff if you will but the legitimization of pedophilia is next.

Scoffing left and right, otherwise agreed with your post.

When a dumb foreigner complains how an exotic place has “lost its soul”, it means that the livelihood of the locals has improved sufficiently for them to be able to ignore patronizing Western assholes and their twenty bucks.

Actually, this is how it was played out for the likes of Bernie and his friends. Even in towns and villages where the motorcade wasn’t even scheduled to stop everything was prearranged under the supervision of Party officials.

Well, if the Catholic Church had it’s way

On a purely political level the government should favor marriage because as far as I’m aware children do better by every measure when raised by a mother and father who are married. This alone justifies government (society) involvement.

Define legitimization and then I will bet a large sum of money on it not happening.

Another massive leap if you’re going to say gay marriage makes pedophilia ok.

You know the cool thing if that’s the reason for government to favor marriage? research shows that kids who are raised in same sex households do just as well as their peers.

So if the government should favor marriage for that reason it should favor marriage for heterosexual and homosexual.

But some of that same research said discrimination is most harming to kids in those households so it’s important for the gay haters to hate on.

Plus fuck freedom. I want everyone to do what I do and love someone of the opposite sex.

You’ll never hear me defend the Catholic Church.

Ludicrous. It pays better to sweep it under the rug and reassign predators than to make it legitimate. Probably lose some money.

Wouldn’t be religion if it wasn’t do as I say not as I do.

Are you speaking as if all religions are the same? If so, do you believe all religions teach “do as I say not as I do” or do you think the fault lies with imperfect, flawed people within those religions?

There will be a push to defend it the same as the transgender movement. There already was an article in Salon magazine defending pedophiles.

I would say such studies are premature at best. Same-sex marriage has not been legalized for a long enough period to properly study the lasting effects it has on children brought up in those households.

Some of these studies predate legalization of gay marriage
