Bottom line. X is illegal. She did X. She was found guilty for committing said crime.
More like: X(manslaughter) is illegal. She did Y(told him to do it or she was going to get him helpā¦the horror and fear he must have felt when she told him she was going to get him help!). She was found guilty of X because Y is just not nice. Of course, we donāt all have to agree that something is stupid. I just posted it because itās perhaps the most absurd conviction Iāve ever seen.
X is assisted suicide, and qualifies as manslaughter. Is your problem with the verbiage of manslaughter or that assisted suicide is illegal in general?
More absurd than when people are convicted of crimes they didnāt actually commit, only to be released decades later? You might wanna work on your absurdity scale.
Read the dialogue at the bottom. Fucking sick.
Yes(at least the ones I can remember), because those are typically cases in which new evidence is later uncovered that creates at least reasonable doubt. The convictions themselves were not absurd, because the juries did not have that evidence at the time of conviction.
In this case, words were deemed the equal of actions.
Read the actual dialogue. She straight up nagged him to death. Guy should have got a new number, heād still be alive today. Straight up crazy.
Donāt know if her actions fit the manslaughter charge. But her lack of action (telling someone) did contribute to his suicide.
True. I can see why so many seem to be in agreement with the manslaughter conviction: itās a two-for-one dealā¦get two dumbasses out of society instead of just one.
Although I see what youāre saying itās definitely hard to feel bad about this bitch.
I can assure you that I do not feel bad about what happened to her. I do, however, have a serious issue with claiming that she literally killed the guy with words. If the judge had merely said, āYouāre a dumb bitch(but we collectively thank you for the savings you have provided through your work in helping to eliminate a waste of mental health resources), so youāre going to prison,ā I would have less of an issue with this.
I thought we were lowering the amount of non corporate welfare we hand out?
I canāt tell up from down anymore.
I thought this was an onion story at first⦠no seriously, he actually thinks congress needs a housing allowance. Unbelievable.
Heās a āconservativeā too. Unreal.
Fiscal conservatism is dead. RIP
I mean that genuinely. If it werenāt for the GOPs social stances, Iād probably vote red almost exclusively.
Itās not dead it just doesnāt have a nationally recognized party, unfortunately.
Tomato tomato
āHello, Darwin Award nominating committee? Iāve got one.ā
