I’ve never tried zerchers, but might give them a go. It’s hard for me to grasp the difference the zercher DL and the zercher squat, though. For mechanical drop sets of squats, I’ve used KBs, then barbell front squats, then barbell back squats (so I substituted KB squats for Zercher squats), but after seeing this I should try the real thing.
Hi coach, I ordered the Maximum Muscle Bible on November 30th. My order # was 190. I paid $36 for the expedited shipping, but I still haven’t received it yet. Do you have a tracking number? It was going to 1117 S DuPont Hwy New Castle, DE 19720.
Just wanted to shine a ray of hope for those “with one power rack and one barbell.” I train at an Anytime Fitness.
Tried out this workout this afternoon with about 1 minute rest periods and was able to make all the plate changes with anywhere from 12-20 seconds to spare before the next set. Did circuit of back squats, SGHPs, and OHP. Went a little too light on the OHP, a little too heavy on the SGHP and just right on the squats. But I’m hoping those transition times will hold up. Really like RSS and circuits, so great to find both in the one place.
I’m glad I stumbled across this thread, this is awesome stuff! I had a question regarding the “bonus work” at the end of each session. How would you recommend loading something like lunges, rows, or pullups?
I have a home gym so no access to machines. I would imagine something like one movement per session using either Best Damn approach or something low volume like 3x4-6 reps double progression.
