My guess is this happened at the Bally’s near 148th in Bellevue (where I currently train). This whole tread could take place there. My favorite sghting there: 140lb teenagers taking pictures of themselves pretending to hit the heavy bags while decked out in Tapout gear to post on their Facebooks.
LA Fitness on 106th, in downtown Bellevue. That gym was actually fairly decent, except that it has so many damn members that there were time it was literally impossible to train. And too much socializing. And they would get mad if you deadlifted too much because weights were on the third floor and no matter how lightly you set them down, it shook the place. Come to think of it, nothing was really that great about that gym except the girls. And even then, Mill Creek LA fitness had the better site seeing.

Forgive me my evil spriti, but I can’t contain myself any longer…
This forum badly needs a thread like this. The point of this thread is to find the squat video that scores the highest on the squat douchebaggery scale.
RULES: Points are given like I’ve done below, if you can’t find a point rule for something, then make some sensible douchebag score yourself.
The ratings:
Douchebag points:
Haircut +5 douchebag points.
Pant +2 douchebag points.
Smith machine +10 douchebag points.
Gloves +2 douchebag points.
Pussy pad +5 douchebag points.
Lack of Depth +5 douchebag points.
Jerking and shaking of the bar before the first rep +1 douchebag point…
The music +5 douchebag points.
For putting on 15kg plates to make it look like it’s more than it really is. +2 douchebag points.
37 points, anonymous swedish dude with mohawk haircut.
ry G
And I thought the music at MY gym was horrendous…what is that gay horseshit disco abortion?
I’ll just leave this here…
Nice, I must do some 1/6 reps with 4 times what I can actually squat soon. I like how he fucked up racking it too. I don’t know where you guys find this stuff but it’s comedy gold. Helped my afternoon, thanks!

He is lucky he didn’t his head pushed through the wall. I can’t stand the guys who set up a circuit and hog 5 (or more) different stations at a time. And then they have the audacity to seem indignant when you actually want to use one of “their” pieces of equipment.
That was at my gym back in Seattle, well actually Bellevue, by the way. Judging by your big W, you have some sort of affiliation with UW.
Anyway, I completely agree. And what makes the circuit even more douchey is the fact that he’s got a ten on each side of the bar in the squat cage… don’t use squat cages for curls, its bullshit.
^^^ This. I’m in Portland and that shit goes on in some areas…not mine anymore. Some guys from the local Jujitsu dojo (who like myself actually were or are active in MMA) elected to start training at the gym…the kids kinda migrated elsewhere. Note they were offered trial memberships to ****** jujitsu, none of them took it up. I guess it’s way easier to put on a shirt and play pretend fighter than train to actually do it. I’d like to put up a sign over the back exit that says “Tapout Gear? Exit here”. Oh and I don’t know what their squatting form was like as all they did were horrendous epileptic penguin impressions while curling
lol

Not the ones who train properly. It is however offensive to idiots and impressionable “bros”. For which I am not in the least apologetic. Oh and I was right, I DID see some idiot doing this
Why bring drama from other threads here? I guess it’s a pointless thread anyway. Flame away…
I dunno. Buckeye girl is kind of a badass. She’s cool.
Those squats are silly, why not point them out.
Let me put it this way. I wouldn’t train anyone and let them call that silliness (read, claim it as relevant to what they could squat full range of motion with reasonable depth) a squat.
Would you?
Yeah, I’m not arguing that it’s a joke to call that movement a squat but it was obvious to me that the main reason she was posting that was to bash another poster on this site. Right idea, wrong time? I dunno, not really my business anyway.
