DCA - those chins would be tough no matter where you put them in your training order, truely just amazing!

Nice work!!

great chins and great rows!!

so you lost- 14 to 20 pounds and are still kicking ass.
nice job.

Thanks guys.

It’s been a while since I’ve had that “lightning bolt” feeling in my head from too heavy a weight. I missed it. You know the one: when the whole brain has to fire a massive electrical impulse to the body to make that weight MOVE!

Fun stuff. Makes me want to nap afterwards.

It’s surely impossible until you see it done:

Just watched the chins video…AWESOME! You couldn’t even see the oompa loompas pushing up on the bottom of your feet. Chins with bw are almost inconceivable to me. But with 100+ hanging off your waist?? I can only say “awesome”! You’re my hero…

Impressive back work!

I’ve all but given up on doing bent over BB rows. Post injury, there’s just something with the shear force on my lower back, whether I’m at 90 degrees or 45… Luckily I have the chest supported T-bar at one of the gyms…

Can we all make a pact that none of us will post videos of lifts in ‘budgie smugglers’? The women are exempt from this pact.

Those were some pretty bad ass chins DCA.

Deece, I didn’t know you could dance, especially with a ball, and I’m really impressed that you can deadlift 455 with such a flexible back and skinny legs. The little dress really caught me off guard, though, but its all good!

Its amazing how agile you are.

You know what is the hardest part? Hiding my junk in that little tard…

Wait…that was you? Well I, uh, apologize for the impure thoughts I had about us together. I didn’t see the junk. You must be skilled at “tucking”.

Well, don’t be hasty. Depending on how flexible you are, we might be able to work something out <wink, wink, leer>.

I don’t think it’s going to work out. I was going to be the stiff (no pun intended) old guy and you were going to be doing all the tricks. Alas, it is not to be.

Actually my wife is very flexible and is a thing of beauty. Now, maybe if I strap her Blackberry to my ding-ding I’ll get some attention. Wait…did I say that out loud? Back to your regular programming.

Arms

2-Board Close Grip Bench
barx15
135x5
185x5
215x2
250x4 (PR weight +5 lbs)
225x5

Hammer Curls
60’sx5 (simult)
60’sx5 (alternating)

Good enough fer me.

Sweet CGB! 250x4 is really pushing it.

And the curls. If I can do sets of 5 with 50-55# I am absolutely thrilled!

2009-7-3
Seated Overhead Press from pins(top f head
135x5
185x3
205x1
215x1
205x1

Standing OHP from pins (top of head)
185x5

High Anderson Squat (from ball-of-femur height)
135x3
225x2
275x1
305x1
325x1
345 1x3 sets

Rack pull from patella bottom
135x5
225x3
315x2
405x1
455x1
485x1

That’s all. 485 took a long time to break off the pins and didn’t go up fast either. Low back is not crying but it’s a little annoyed. Still 70 lbs off personal best on the rack pull at that height. The Anderson squats however - I think that might actually be a set PR for me.

edit:
Tire carries(200 lb tire)
8x50 ft

Right now it’s more like a farmer’s walk with me in the tire. I want to work up to carrying that tire from one side and in front of my body. I have a buncha 10-lb-ers I can put in the tire to make it heavier in the meantime and a 2nd, heavier, tire as as well that I can work with. Fun times coming.

Thank you, Math. I hope to get the poundages up quite a bit over the next few months. All this is calibration right now.

DCA- Great work all the way around. Even though I am going to have to look up High Anderson Squats. There is a lot of weight moving around.

You have rack pulled 555? Good grief! At 185#, that would be 3x your body weight! And yes, I know we aren’t talking about full DLs, but 3x your body weight at anything is awesome.

DCA…

I like the new training- looking good.
(maybe that is because I did not understand 5.3.1.)

looks like your moving some big numbers-
funny you say that about rack pulls below the knee- I found them torture-
but moving till the bar is at the top of the knee- almost too easy.

go figure.
