Man - if I could be 5’8 painlessly and weigh the same, I’d go for it in a heartbeat.

Today is overhead press day+pullups+rear shoulders. I am eager.
Legs are sore but feel really good. Just the right amount of work day before yesterday.
Looks like everyone on the 5/3/1 has contacted the Wendler…
I gotta get my 5/3/1 reading in… good training skid!
I have scored a super awesome power rack. As sturdy as my last one.
For free.
I am so freakin’ pleased.

No PR’s today, but a good solid session.
Ballistic Laterals are bent over and swung from mid body up and out to the side. Just a tiny bit of leg drive, most of the momentum comes from shrugging the shoulder. Try to to control the negative. Felt 'em in my weak spots across the shoulders.
Nice work.
more free gear.
I hate you.

x2 - I keep looking on craigslist but never find any free ones…
Skidly, how in the hell does one get a power rack free? Im still trying to figure out how to knit one out of steel wool…

Free…even I could afford that. I’m just trying to find a decent one for under $500.
Great log, Skid. Lots of info to be gleaned here and from your posts elsewhere.
This power rack was given to the guy I got it from by a welder wielding powerlifter who built his own equipment. The fella giving it away has been trying to get rid of it for months (his girlfriend wanted it gone) but nobody would take it because it was too heavy and big. PERFECT for me.
It weighs about 350-400 all put together and I’ll post pictures once it is put together.

The new bouncing baby power rack.

If I were you, I’d hate me too.
I don’t hate you Skid. I may need to use you in the future.
Loathing, on the other hand. Yes, intense loathing.
How’d you score it, if I may ask?

Months of trolling craigslist. I actually missed it for 3 days and was very surprised that no one had glommed it already.
Now if I can find a good, free, free-standing bench and some more 45-lb plates I’ll be set.

Congrats! What did you name it?
I’ve been working CL a bit, too, late, but I’ll have to be a more frequent visitor.
Way to hustle.
