Han and Leia had 3 kids in the books anyway; although, I think they’ve said the books aren’t canon now. They’re legend or some shit.
The whole thing is gay if you ask me. There are like 50 books.

Oh, I donno man. He kept crying about getting away from the First Order, but when they attacked he went looking for Rey and volunteered to go to the planet with the Super Death Star thingy to save Rey. He did get saved by her a few times, though…
I think they’ll do fine by Finn.
I’ll say one thing, they didn’t resort to the lame stereotype of “cool comedic relief black character”, and that is refreshing to say the least.
I hope you’re right, but I have a feeling I am.
Independence Day II. Not unenjoyable, but certainly not good.
A child could easily pick apart the ten million plot holes.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. It’s basically “A New Hope” but with Han’s kids instead of Luke. (Unless Disney is messing with Lucas’ own story). I mean almost the entire plot of the movie is a repeat of episode IV.
Abrams said this was intentional. He basically wanted to reset the entire film franchise by giving people a very familiar story.

Kylo is way too much of a pussy. And if he turns good later I call mega bullshit. You can’t slaughter your father in cold blood and ever turn good again. The temper tantrums were… Family Guy esk, and the whole “hasn’t finished his training” isn’t consistent. ie: stopping a blaster ray fro that long, feeling Fin change etc, doesn’t fit with the storyline that supports the temper tantrums and him being ultimately a massive pussy.
I liked Kylo Ren. He seemed like such a badass when he literally STOPPED a blaster shot in mid-air (Vader’s feat of stopping them with his bare hands isn’t as visually impressive).
And then he turns out to be an emo goth-kid who throws temper tantrums.
I liked it, and I think it leaves a lot of space open for his character to change in interesting ways down the road.
The guy wanted to establish himself as Vader 2.0. Then he gets his ass kicked by a neophyte and earns some nice scars to go along with it.
I fully expect to see Kylo Ren live up to his ambitions in the next film, and I think it would be glorious to watch.
Ghostbusters
Wow I thought this movie would be bad but not this fucking bad. It’s a completely worthless pile of shit.
I’m being kind here.
I’m proud of you for taking one for the team and going to see it so you can warn us.
Now go wash yourself clean.
That chick you mentioned is pretty hot though.
I know, right? In a weird, kinda not really hot but still is kinda way.
So, I watched the super duper ultra R-rated version of Batman v. Superman last night. Jesus was it long as fuck and it was okay at best.
The first 2 hours are pretty boring and the story is all over the place. I did enjoy the fight scenes (I really like the style of the fights). Although, batman looked to be moving in slow motion at times.
Affleck turned out to be a better batman than I thought he was going to be so that’s a plus. There was a scene showing him working out and I was actually pretty impressed with how he looked (I’m assuming it wasn’t a double) and the scene was actually kinda cool. They even sorta show him squatting.
I was not a fan of Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor at first, but by the end of the movie I thought it was actually a pretty good take on the character.
All in all, I’d give it a probably a 6/10 or so. It’s just too long.
Saw Kung Fu Panda 3 with my son…
It was like the others. Pretty solid.
A little short and the main bad guy’s scenes of achieving his goals (explained in this way to avoid revealing the story) could have been more elaborate in my opinion. Would have added more entertainment to the movie, I think.
Ghostbusters was really that bad? That’s unfortunate…
I heard the second Independence Day is a giant pile, too. even without including the plot holes you mentioned, Yogi. Just horrible from all angles.
I saw a sweet Canadian film a few months ago called turbo kid. If you like mad Max and 80s arcadey ass kicking movies you will enjoy it.

pretty much. The worst thing is they set it up to make a bunch of (presumably mediocre) sequels
Watched The Nice Guys.
Bloody good! Really funny, good plot. No complaints with it at all. Best movie I’ve seen in ages.
This is really the bad movie season.
Cell
Ever walked out of the cinema and felt like the filmmakers were trolling you?
Star Trek Something
Loud noises, big explosions, lots of shit flying around the screen, Beastie Boys playing while things explode and lots of shit flies around the screen. That’s all I remember.
^^see above. Check out The Nice Guys
The Nice Guys
I’ll watch it for Ryan Gosling. How annoying is Russell Crowe on a scale of 1-10 in this movie?

bit gay, but whatever.

Not at all, weirdly. He’s actually really good.
Do you think a 4 year old would be into Kung Fu Panda? …I would really love to take my nephew out to dinner and a movie. Since I don’t have children this is new territory for me. Thank you!
Yes. Without a doubt. I would consider myself an expert on children, since I have nine.
