That’s been a big issue through the movies . They won’t establish a actual ability level for the characters and stick with it.
I’m just gonna be blunt. Thor cannot be Thor anymore in the new phase because he’s a masculine male. He’s now comic relief because masculinity is a joke. Male stuff like codes of honor are funny and outdated. They established that in the Captain Marvel movie. They literally spelled it out for the audience in Endgame by having Captain America go back to his time and appearing in present time as an old fart.
Just had a friend come back from a pre-screening of John Wick 3…he couldn’t even try to describe how awesome it was without using hand gestures that made no sense. His opinion: John Wick 3 >> John Wick > John Wick 2…
Damn. Why’d I have to have kids and miss the screening?

Kid who’s literally the evil version of Superman fucks shit up. Interesting premise. Then they decided to write and shoot the movie like a low budget modern day horror movie and they can’t even pull off effective jump scares. Unengaging but not really boring. Some technical stuff was interesting. Better acting than the average “JUMP SCARE! Horror” flick. Ultimately a let down. Seriously, there’s really NOTHING original about this movie. All they did was replace the normal supernatural shit with superhero shit. Same plot, same cliches, same ending.
I thought Brightburn wasn’t coming out until August?
