I’ve always been a little curious about whether or not Bricktop’s times/number of pigs to get rid of a body is accurate, ha.
I’d imagine he developed the exactness as a means to drive unshakable fear into those who he tells the stats to. It’s so cold and shows such a disregard for the humanity of the person to who he feeds the pigs. If it’s not that accurate it’s a power and fear tactic which works, I’d imagine, because, let’s face it, he’s not the most intimidating looking man … then he speaks
He also says “cunt” a lot, which is something I really admire in a British crime boss.
New Hellboy movie is getting ripped a new one by critics.
I’ve been watching Billions. It’s extremely entertaining to the point of being addictive as long as you’re willing to let a lot of inaccuracies slide.
I just saw Lucifer season 4 starts on May 8th.
Well, I just saw Captain Marvel and fuck all y’all, I enjoyed it.
I fucking love this show. Only show I watch when it’s released.
Oh really? You like Captain Marvel? Let’s see what happens once she’s over 35 yrs old.
The Curse of The Weeping Woman
Allow me to provide a more accurate synopsis than the official one:
“When Anna Garcia ([Linda Cardellini]) JUMP SCARE!, a social worker and widow JUMP SCARE! raising her two children in 1970s Los Angeles JUMP SCARE!, is called to check in on one of her cases JUMP SCARE!, she finds signs of foul play JUMP SCARE!. As she digs deeper, she finds striking similarities JUMP SCARE! between the case and the terrifying supernatural occurrences JUMP SCARE! haunting her family JUMP SCARE!. Enlisting the help of a local faith healer JUMP SCARE!, she discovers that [La Llorona] JUMP SCARE! has latched herself onto Anna JUMP SCARE! and will stop at nothing to take her children JUMP SCARE!. La Llorona JUMP SCARE!, also known as the Weeping Woman JUMP SCARE! from folklore who lost her children JUMP SCARE! and causes misfortune JUMP SCARE! to those nearby JUMP SCARE!. As she searches for them JUMP SCARE!, she takes other lost children JUMP SCARE!, making them her own JUMP SCARE!. Anna turns to [mysticism] JUMP SCARE! with the help of a disillusioned priest JUMP SCARE! to fight the evil entity. JUMP SCARE!”
— [Warner Bros. Pictures] and [New Line Cinema] JUMP SCARE!
6/10 JUMP SCARE!
So… I take it that it might have a few jump scares?
Yeah I counted one or two JUMP SCARES!. Building up tension JUMP SCARE! by means of good storytelling JUMP SCARE! and escalation JUMP SCARE! and skillful use of atmosphere JUMP SCARE! obviously took priority over making a quick buck by churning out another cheap product riding on The Conjuring’s success with a paper thin plot padded together with JUMP SCARES!
Honestly, it isn’t too bad if you’re the kind of person who gets scared by Colin Farell in the Fright Night remake like my wife. It’s better than the other Conjuring spinoffs. They kept the storyline simple, with most the movie taking place in the protagonist’s house. The guy that played Tuco in Breaking Bad appears as a shaman in the second half of the movie. He is fucking hilarious.
Watched Hellboy. It’s too messy to call it a good movie but I like the new direction it’s going into a lot more than the old one. The sequel will probably be a lot better if there’s one.
Disclaimer:
I never read the comics and hated The Golden Army.
I just went to see it and enjoyed it; fun and entertaining. I don’t really ask much more from movies.
I loved how it was so bloody METAL lol. It’s what I wished the previous Hellboy movies were: A lot more like Blade 2 than boring Gothic fantasies.
There was even that amazing unintentionally funny line that was probably taken from the comics(because I really can’t believe that they would add in a line like that for laughs in this day and age) where the Korean guy says, “I’m more a dog person.”
Yeah still have heard mix reviews thats its garbage or its passable.
Also for some reason @dt79 every time I see the new Lion King trailer I keep thinking that you will definitely be seeing it.
I haven’t even seen the original Lion King lol. I can’t sit through cartoons unless they’re Japanese.
Well, I hope its not Hentai involving tentacles…LOL
If you havent seen this already… here you go and you decide.
Haha, nah the live action Japanese stuff is even more out of this world. Never saw the allure of hentai. I’m a big fan of Miyazaki and Hideaki Anno.
The Jungle Book was really good. I will probably catch this.
For those that have seen it, is watching Captain Marvel necessary before watching Avengers Endgame?
