Holy shit! Nice job!
You look significantly better than the last set of photos.
No ass shot makes me sad, though. ![]()

You were right, that bulk was ridiculous lol. Won’t be doing that again. Next bulk will be mostly tactical carbs, and upping meat portions as opposed to killing a 1/2 gallon of milk and jar of PB each night.
It is absolutely AMAZING what timing your carbs properly does. Shelby Starnes knows his stuff. It only took about 8 articles from him on carb timing for me to actually try it. The picture is how I’m eating right now, basically doubled my carbs, but I keep them right around the workout. The extra carbs come in the form of brown rice finished 45 minutes before I workout. Then I moved the fruit I usually eat from late morning/ early afternoon to post workout since they’re quicker dissolving. I quickly follow them with some meat. I can’t describe how powerful I feel in workouts. My numbers are actually moving up and I feel like the speed/explosiveness of the bar/db when I’m performing movements is more violent than it’s ever been.
damn dude you lookin sexy, super green right now
Keep posting Accipiter, really enjoy following this and seeing someone who wasn’t afraid to get fat in order to get muscular. Takes some serious mental fortitude to do it the way you did. I did something similar, and came to the same conclusion you have - better to get less fat and stay slightly leaner. But, no one can argue that this bulk wasn’t a success, given you were able to cut down.
I also particularly like how you’ve quite visible abdominals, whilst having a ghetto booty. I have the exact. same. thing. I can have my top four abdominals clearly visible whilst still being size 36 pants (at 6"4). Thighs are a problem for me too. Female fat distribution, yo.

x2.
i know you got a lot of shit about how much bodyfat you gained on your bulk…
but do you think you would have gained as much mass if you hadn’t gained those levels of bodyfat??
haters gonna hate…
This has been an interesting/entertaining thread. Have you cut further from the pic on 8/23?

EXACTLY. My ass clings to fat. Although a girl noticed last week when she saw my ass that it’s much smaller than it was previously. I’ll post an updated ass shot tomorrow.

I’m honestly not sure if I would’ve gained as much mass. I wish that for the last couple months I had been taking in about 300 calories more on my conditioning days though. I’m actualy 195 right now which is lower than I wanted to go. Added in an avocado on my conditioning days to compensate.

Took this yesterday, top abs (I didn’t know I had some right below my pecs) are actually visible now. What I thought were the top 2 are apparently my middle ones, sides are visible as well.
I just tried taking some ass pictures…lighting is awful. I’ll take one tomorrow in natural light.
awesome work cutting!
This is going to sound odd but I think it actually looks ‘swollen’ here from deadlifting yesterday. Anyway the boxers are kinda pinching my hamstrings a bit, but you get the point. There’s still some fat there, but I’m not sure how much…maybe 2 lbs?
Its good to see how far you’ve come since the start of this. I’m hoping to do the same kind of cut, been at it for 7 weeks and lost around 18lbs but i’ve stalled the last 3 weeks. Srsly guna have to do something drastic now to get the fat moving again!
Horrible lighting, and I just ate, but still. Any guesstimates on bodyfat? I have vascularity like whoah right now
