'Tis the season and that means double up gifts, crap gifts, gifts you dislike and even good gifts you could exchange for something you really like.

I personally don’t re-gift (even double ups - particularly for kids) but my wife loves a good re-gift so it is a contentious topic in our household.

How do folks here deal gifts you don’t want, you wouldn’t use or you already have?

Once I started to assign value to my time, returns hardly ever make sense. I haven’t returned an item in about a decade. Part of that might be me being an informed customer and researching even 20 dollar purchases. I also just don’t buy much new these days either.
