Could someone please give me the main differences between the anabolic diet and the radical diet? I have both the anabolic diet books so what would I need to change to go on the radical diet?
No one?
I have both books. Radical diet is basicly a very low calorie diet with very large refeeds every 2 weeks. You’d have to buy the book to get all the info though as I don’t want to give too much away.
Man I already have two books, I dont wanna purchase the thing and not use it if I dont like it…can you give me the basic differences…
SEARCH.
There is a whole thread about this somewhere.

Ditto. It’s like Higgins said, basicly it’s very similar except you run your calories down to ground zero,(very low), during the diet. Simple.
It’s not as expensive as the other books. Just go buy it and you’ll be all warm and fuzzy again.
Good luck.

Awww golly gee, here’s a little more tangible info there pugs.
The radical diet is a Very Low Calorie Diet, varient of the metabolic diet by Mauro DiPasq. In the radical diet the food intake is reduced to a maximum of 1000-1200 cal on the low carb days, and up to 2000 cals on the carb up day.
The same basic premise, no 12 days straight initial fat adaptation stuff, just 6 lower carb/calorie days, 1 higher cal/carb day, and so on and so forth. The extra from the one day of carbing up keeps your metabolism from hitting the shitter, and keeps hormones etc working their magic so you don’t lose a boatload of muscle. It’s meant for those who have a substantial amount of total body fat to lose, or desire a rapid fat/weight loss regimen.
Hope that helps out a little more dude. I’m actually schlepping out on it as we speak to drop some significant fat that built up on me recently. Definitely effective if you do it right.
Good luck.
Dad gum, makin’ me look bad… I’ll contribute, but only because I was interested as well. Here is the thread.
