I think you have to remember that Trump is a businessman, not a typical politician. He is also one that speaks his mind and does not hold back, regardless of whether or not feelings may/may not be hurt. In essence, he doesn’t approach the podium and ramble off typical politician bullshit, weaving a web of circles, and not delivering. I think that is what pisses off a lot of people, primarily the left. They would prefer someone with compassion and the ability to coddle 100% of the time and that is just not going to happen.

No, he does indeed ramble off typical politician bullshit.

He doesn’t deliver which leads back to what I said above.

Talking about sticking lights inside the human body or using disinfectant to clean people’s lungs wouldn’t have anything to do with it?

Or knowledge, ability, experience, intelligence…

Like telling you it’s OK to not wear a mask because it must make you feel like a slave.

Typical Liberal bullshit.

Now that’s a winning argument! Cheers!

I think the word you are looking for is conman. In actuality, he may do business, but is not good at it. He would have far more money if he just put his daddy’s money in the S&P 500 sat back. IMO, if you can’t beat a passive market, you are not a good business man.

Care to compare your business experience with his and how much you have made over the same period of time? You should have amazing credentials if you could suggest investment recommendations to him.

And/or celebrity. Most of what people believe they know about him comes from reality tv.

If Bill Gates called Trump a bad businessman and a bum, would you ask Gates this same question?

Not really, it is simple math actually. You can plug in the amount of money daddy gave him into a compound interest calculator, look at the average return rate of the S&P 500 over that period, and that number turns out to be greater than even Trump’s silly estimation of his net worth.

My experience is irrelevant here. No need for expertise when plenty of evidence is available.

Did you really just write that? His time at the podium is spent attacking enemies and deflecting responsibilities.

The analysis has been in for a while and Trump is no exceptional businessman. What he has been good at in recent years is branding to the reality television audience. The money made there saved him from his otherwise terrible performance in business.

It should be interesting how this pandemic will be played during the campaign to one side or the other’s “advantage”?

It certainly can’t be ignored…but with so many Americans most likely still hurting by November, using it as some kind of political football will be tricky. My thought is that any side that does try to use it to their advantage will make the other side that much more angry.

Maybe a little confusing? It’s confusing times. Any thoughts?
